My Very First Flexi-Rod Set (Pic Heavy)

You did a FABULOUS job! Your curls are defined, and they look soft and bouncy.:lick: On top of that, you're making great progress!

You're making me want to pull out my flexies now.:look:

You did a wonderful job!!! This is so pretty, and it looks so soft! I love it - you're inspiring me to try a no heat flexi set this weekend in preparation for the no heat challenge next month!

Good job, lady! :)

WOW!!You did great!!!You did it like a professional:yep:. I couldn't tell that you were a novice at all. Dr.,about how many rods did you use?

great job! your hair looks so purty.
I love flexi rod sets-such a foolproof style. it's like a guarantee that your hair will come out cute lol.

That's so cute @Drtondalia. I'm so jealous that you're able to separate the curls!!!! Looks so good!!!

OK, can you please walk me through the process again REEEEEALLY slowly? So you washed, DC'd...and then stretched hair all weekend. Now the part you lost me is the installation of the flexi. Can you spell out the recipe of your spray mix...and names of products with pics. Also I'd love a demo of how exactly you were doing this with a rattail comb. Like when did you use it and how? Also did you airdry or use a dryer?

When I saw the first post, I was just like "Looks like a Curlformer set"...but the separated curls post had me  -ing!!! I couldn't do this with CFs although I did mine on bare hair, so I'm sure that didn't help. :hide: I did try a few experiments using some suggested products and still I couldn't do it. So I'm intrigued to learn the details of your method. I'ma make it work on my CF's dammit!!!

great job!
put your hair up in a pineapple pony (high ponytail) before you go to sleep & that will help the curls last longer

So...

Why does this make me want to go out and get some flex rods?!?! This is gorgeous. I can envision how much lovelier it is going to get as the time goes by.

Well done!!
