I used to take GNC's Ultramega, but I decided to switch to GNC's Ultramega Gold. I have difficulty consistently taking my vitamins, so I made the decision to put myself on a strict vitamin regimen for 12 months...

What is your multivitamin?

I am taking Centrum now. I have a bottle on my desk and try and remember to take it with my lunch if I eat here in my office.

When I remember I have a nail and hair complex at home i take. It has Biotin and other things... You have to take 3 with meals but I always forget...

Rite-Aid Whole Source Multivitamin. I chose this one because it was recommended for women in an article a while back in The Nutrition Action Letter. It's a rather large vitamin, though.

Nay: You represent my natural hair length inspiration! Do you take only 1 Rite-Aid Whole Source Multi, or do you have to take more than one at multiple times a day.

Ok, so those who have responded, are you satisfied with what you're taking? I'm on the hunt for a good one w/noticeable benefits (ie - strong nails, healthy glow, energy, and others). I want something that my body actually absorbs and not something that simply passes thru. Thanks!

Yes, I'm satisfied with taking Centrum. It's good for overall health. The Centrum passed the the float test so that makes it a quality vitamin that absorbs easily in my opinion.

Well, my twin sister takes the GNC Ultramega, and she's the one who convinced me that multivitamins were essential for overall health. Since we are twins and all, I noticed how her hair was getting longer & longer (I asked her and she told me about the vitamins & LHCF), and her nails were really long too - longer than the length I would get when I got tips/acrylic! Anyway, I haven't had much success with Ultramega, and my twin stresses that it has to do with taking my vitamins consistently.

So, I figure, whatever multivitamin you choose, be sure to take them consistently for at least 3 months or so - by then, you should be able to tell what they are doing for you physically...

Hey, Reggie: Thanks for saying I'm a hair length inspiration. Yes, I only take one of these multivitamins a day. I can't say for sure whether it has helped my hair or not. I really started taking it more for overall health benefits. And at the same time, I had also been embarking on healthier living in general (more exercising, drinking more water). So it's hard to pinpoint one thing as, "Hey, that is doing the trick."

I have noticed that my eyes look brighter, my nails look healthier. So I think everything together has definitely been beneficial.

I take Centrum.

To get more out of your multi, consider splitting the tablet in half into 2 separate doses daily.

I used to take alive! but I had to take three a day it had amino acids fatty acids and fruit and veggie blends.

I consider my GNC Hair, Skin, Nails as my multi vitamin. I don't want to overdo the vitamins so I just take that. If I wasn't taking the HSN, I'd take a regular multi.
