Pill that straightens hair?!

A friend was telling me about a new pill that is coming out that apparently straightens you hair. I don't know what its about but its in the developing stages. Has anyone heard about it? And apparently the scientists that are developing it have found the gene that is responsible for the curliness in everyone's hair. It sounds like a scam to me, but you never know! I guess I'll see what happens when they come out with it and people start trying it. Does anyone have any information about it?

doesn't sound like it would be healthy at all! screwing around with your gene expression is bound to have disastrous side effects. I wouldn't touch it with a 10ft pole. Besides is would make your hair that much less versatile. Just my opinion
