Phony Pony/Falls: How do you keep looking fresh?

Happy new year ladies. I really want to try one of these hide you hair challenges, but I have a second job that requires that I look really put together. I'm not crazy about wearing the same hairstyle for 6 months, but for the sake of my hair's health, I'm willing to try.

The problem comes when I wear the same phony pony for a while. Despite the fact that I brush it daily and wash it, it still frizzes up at the ends and looks ratty by about one months use.

Does anyone have any trick to keeping these things looking good?

I like when mine get ratty, it looks more natural

If it is human hair I guess you could deep condition it

Do you have any wig spray? I try to spray and brush my fall before and after I use it. I think it keeps it looking good.

Thanks, I'll try the wig spray for what I''ve got now. I may try a human hair pony though. This will go a long way towards the hair hide. May even try the fall If I can find something I like.
