How do you do it Fall Wearers?

I also have this one, when I wear it it looks basically the same as my hair in my avatar (that was a sew in but I used the fall to keep the same style in between sew-ins)

Oh wow that's a beautiful fall.

I don't have my "fall as a protective style" method down to a science. I've been putting my hair in 4 cornrows after spraying s-curl on it, and tying my edges down with a scarf. Leave scarf on for 5 minutes, slap the fall on, and put a head band on. I don't cornrow the first inch or two of har, so I don't have braids sticking out the fall.

I've also been scared to jump out there with styles. At first, I had a fall by outre that was a little shorter than my own hair. Then I bought a sensationnel fall, but the length scared me, because it was TOO long, I think. I like sensationnel the brand though so far over outre

I'm wearing mine today with bobby pins and I can already tell that i'm going to like this...I'm loosing all the combs!! I wouldn't use them anyway, I'd just sit them on top of my hair by the middle of the day anyway because they hurt so much.

I am really liking this fall thing. This morning. I just put on my moisture, parted my hair down the middle and secured it into a low flat french roll. Then I put on my long fall and a small head band, it looks soooo natural and it took me 5 minutes to do it! My hair is has a ton of good moisture cream on it and at the end of the day its still moist. Good protective styling for me.

I wear these all the time but I remove all the combs from the back because they dig in my scalp since my hair is thinner at the nape than at the top of my head. I don't use bobbypins. I always wear mine with a headband and I just pull the back of the fall under the headband and the headband holds it in place since the headband stretches. I'm afraid of bobby pins pulling on my hair but my hair is thin anyway.

That's a good idea! its the middle of the day and I don't feel like snatching my fall off !! This is really great.

You idea works too, I may try that as well, especiall during a workout, that would make it really secure!! You are right, I need to be very careful with the bobby pins!

It take a while fiddling with these things to get into a good grove. You'll get it worked out. I'm gettng some great ideas from the laides here ;)

AtlantaJJ - You keep your fall on during your workout  I always take mine off because I sweat in my head ALOT. I go into the bathroom or a private changing room with long hair and come out looking like somebody else  . Do you sweat in your head? If you do, how does the fall feel when your scalp is wet? When your scalp dries, is it easy to get the fall off? I'm scared of the comb pulling my hair and someone on this board once said to be careful of the comb because your hair can become thin from the constant removal.

OMG, my hair feels soooo good.. I just took my fall off and it is just like it was this morning when I put on my moisture! and I was so comfortable all day because I took that daggone comb out!

Why ya'll didn't tell me before  Yay!!! :yay:

And this fall is a 100% perfect match to my hair color and texture... man o man! Cools.. protective styling is here to stay!

I have changed so much! First no heat, now this! wow:love:

Here's the thing girly...
Falls allow you to have the beautiful hair but allows you to take care of your hair while you are pretty.

Now if you have hair longer than shoulder length, I suggest you find a french braiding friend STAT, or learn how to do it yourself. It's worth it because you want to be able deep condition your hair at 2 week intervals at least. I have theory about that. Your scalp is your hair's best friend...your scalp likes to be clean and fresh and fed. That's my problem with weaves....

If your hair is really long then there are other options, if you are brushing shoulders or shorter...the Fall is ON!

i haven't taken out the combs yet, but i did what you sit and pretty much set the combs on my head :D
anyway, i rocked the fall for the first time at work HARD and people loved it!!!
i liked that my hair stayed covered and moisturized the entire time. i'm gonna go crazy now...tee-hee...

I love my fall I recently bought one about two weeks ago and have been wearing it ever since. No one can tell the difference..It's by milky way, human hair soprano style. I paid $44.99. I wasn't expecting to pay the price but the hair is really good quality. I can brush it without any problems just to freshen it up a bit. I've gotten so many compliments. Also I've been wearing it with a headband. For me its difficult to blend their hair with my own because I'm currently transitioning (19months post) I leave just a little out in the front and sides and straighten it once a week and do bantu knots every night for the front part so that it can blend with the human hair. It looks almost perfect..lol I have the rest of my hair cornrowed in the back and I moisturize every other day. I haven't been putting a cap on it..I did the first day and it itched like crazy. I'm going to try the weave cap. I'm not sure how to wash it though...the fall I mean...any suggestions?

Sorry for the delay in replying...I was having "account issues" anyway. I wore it one time during my Taekwondo class. I didn't like it because I was worried about it puffing up, and girl the fall got into a tangled mess even though I put it in a ponytail. Prolly not the best idea to work out in them. I'm going to have to start packing my UPA clip and then slicking my hair back into a pony before I workout. I hate the idea of going in to change with longer hair and then coming out with short hair:eek: . I'm going to start packing my UPA clips for the days I don't have time to go home and change. That way it will look like I just slicked it back into a pony!

I sweat a lot to, so I don't know why I thought I could wear the fall and workout too! :look:
