So I joined the Shoulder Length in 08 challenge. I'm so ready for this. I remember my long hair (i always had SL or longer hair until I turned 17 and cut it off after a bad experience with a mall stylist for homecoming, lol). So here i come, SL! My regimen: Nothing. I say nothing because the no muss, no fuss thing in the past has worked WONDERS for my hair. It's only when I started to mess with it that it just simply went to hell. So my plan is to grease, yes i said "grease" my scalp (can't remember the exact name of the product..although I remember when I was younger it had a red lid, lol!), however I will also try some coconut oil. I plan to also alternate with jojoba oil. I will wash every 2-3 weeks or sooner if i feel the need. No air-drying (it turns my hair to a COMPLETE mess), the same with roller-setting. instead, low heat from the dryer. it may take longer, but I gotta do it. Since I'm in East Lansing for school, my mommy is gonna come get me once a month so I can go to my stylist Antonio (i love him so much...we'd get married if he wasn't gay, lol). So when I come home, I'll get a protein treatment.

So for the new things about my hair: I will up my water intake DRASTICALLY. Not just for my hair, but for me overall. I will start on a multivitamin and switch BC pills (i noticed my hair got thinner the longer i used them). And I never want color again. Not for the damage it does (well, that's partly it) but i can NEVER find CHEAP weave, lol!!!!

And this thread is nothing without PICTURES, lol. So here's a photo diary of my hair! (Sorry, but some are big)

So far I think I'm on a good path...I plan to reach SL by June. Thanks for all my influences on LHCF...esp Pinkskates. She has showed me that pressed hair can be long and healty!
