Im not joking, i went out today and my hair was dark brown/black, i got home its ginger, more so on one side but oh my goodness in one daY??? the sun is shining, anyone else had this....only change in regimen is chi silk, not been washed since weds, i did use heat....any ideas?......

Ginger? Some people would pay big bucks for that color....lol.....I'm sorry, I know you are serious, and unfortunately I can't offer you any advice.

relaxers turn my hair a reddish brown color and the sun makes it worse.

dont feel bad! The sun turned my natural jetblack/semi blue black hair, into this weird brownish/off blackish stuff!... it didn't happen in one day tho. I'm not really sure how to combat the lightening effects except give my hair a dark rinse... AGAIN!!!

Are you relaxed, and if so what relaxer are you using? Relaxers have lightened my hair before but I've noticed MAJOR "coppery" lightening in the back now that I've used Phyto. I just figured it was the usual summer sun lightening, but someone else posted today that she used Phyto and got "weird copper" color. I'm getting ready to start a thread on this....

Could you feel the sun heat on the one side during the day?
Well, the sun was really shining and its worse on the side where the window is when im in the car, I use dark and lovely.
I always associated this with damage but honestly thought my hair was in the best condition its ever been?
I read up soemthing about porous hair, so maybe i should do an ACV rinse I have not done it for a while, have put some amala on maybe that tiny bit of henna will help.....oh man, what if my hard work is ruined!! right, back to rollersets, i just can risk anything else right now.

It's the no lye relaxer. I don't know why, but they change my hair color all the time. I hate it!

My guess is relaxer damage combined with sun damage. Its the same as putting lemon juice in the hair and lying in the sun for an extended period of time, except the lemon juice is replaced with relaxer. I agree with the others, lye relaxer doesn't cause color changes the way no lye does.
