Oh no I'm not saying you were wrong for laughing. I would laugh too , but I wouldn't go as far as POST a huge laugh on the forum after something embarassing happens to someone who didn't do anything to me. That looks wrong & childish IMO.

Now I chuckled up a storm...Because it was kinda funny...but I was I wrong for laughing...Dead wrong! The funny thing is once I saw her album long before the inccident. I knew her hair was not 3c, but it wasn't my place to bust her out!

I did laugh AFTER my friend "outed" her on the board. Not when I sent her the link. It was unexpected...... but oh well

Now originally BMFG thought my girl googled her info and then posted it. I told her that it was me who gave her the info. Now what would you ladies have thought of me had I notsaid anything and just sat back and let everything go down. You would think I was a punk. I was straight up about who did it when BMFG accused her! Now if I was found out later, then you ladies would have more to say and rightfully so. But that is not what I did, I could have hid like a coward when I saw she was pissed but I didn't. I don't think it makes me look like Im that baddest bi@#$, but at the same time, I can own up to anything I do or say.

She's making it seem like I perpetrated a big fraud. It's not even like the girl with the 4f texture. She was asking for trouble going around bragging about good hair. That was a funny story. Meka acted as if I was going around bragging about the hair or telling the whole world my hair was so beautiful. I wasn't. Other people on that board have commented on my hair in other styles but no one ever asked if it was real or not. They didn't ask, I didn't tell. End of story. The woman made the backwards comment asking if was it fake and it made me mad. Why make a rude backwards comment and then expect me to volunteer info? I asked her why would she automatically assume that and said it was. It wasn't any of her business. I have the receipt for it and it is my hair and I didn't owe that woman any explanation. I didn't know that woman from adam and I wasn't telling her about my hair. I made one other comment about maintenance which was true. This hair can be a pain in the ass. Some days it looks bad and frizzy because I'm too lazy to cover it up at night. That was all I said about it. All the other comments came from other people in the thread who complimented the hair fake or not. They never asked about it. If one of my pictures, especially any of my professional copyrighted pictures is posted anywhere else (which could have potentially happened after you gave up my fotki link), I or the photographer could take legal action. That is illegal and that is something everyone should think about when doing things with other people's pictures. They are not yours leave them alone.

Everyone knows the internet is not "safe", i'm speaking about the safety of posting those links here or another forum without having to worry about someone using your album for their own .

This is why I keep things anon on the net unless it's work related intranet. You may see the back or top of my head and thats it, not much you can do with that.

I don't go randomly showing friend's people's fotkis for 1 because most of the people I know would laugh in my face for even believing black women's hair can grow much less when they learn it from a hair porn site. It is not our place without express permission to post pictures of people. Words either but words can be less damaging that a picture and photoshop.

I think that at one time or another some of us may have referred someone either to LHCF or even to someone's Fokti.... but the underlying intentions werent malicious. The issue here is that someone's privacy was violated, and with ill intent.

The point is not that we felt completely "safe" having pictures posted to the www (in general), the point is that we felt "safe" on this board, specifically. Sure, most Fokti's are public, and can be found if anyone does a google search for that username. But usually only members on this board are even aware that the Fokti's exist..... so unless one of us specifically informs an outsider that we have a Fokti, they would never discover it. So in essence, you made the decision for BMFG that her Fokti would be publicly advertised. She may not have wanted outsiders (other than LHCF members) to be privvy to it.

However, I do agree with you that we are going to have to agree to disagree..... because you obviously dont feel as though you have done anything wrong in this situation. And you are certainly entitled to your opinion, I dont think anyone is angry with you for that. You spoke up for what you felt was right.... and we have to respect that. End of story.

You are absolutely right about that.... you paid your $5 to join, and are technically entitled to do what you want on here. *shrug* I guess I just expected more loyalty from fellow LHCF members, you know? That is Meka's arguement that she didn't post the link, the friend was the one who actually posted it but Meka provided the link which to me is the root of the problem.
