it's not rude or snobby to tell someone not to touch your hair. it's an extension of you. if someone grabbed your butt or breast, it wouldn't be rude or snobby to speak up. it's the same thing. personal space, people, personal space!

You are absolutely right! Because I would be quick to :censored: someone out who touched me inappropriately.

I can realte to the jehri curl juice story. Whites get genuinely creeped out by that one and I'm like 'Good'.
I work with hispanic children and every now and then I see the long stare and I know they're wondering how my hair feels. Sometimes they come up real close like they want to touch and run, but I always turn and shoot them the look like "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? I KNOW YOU HAVEN'T LOST YOUR MIND!"
Once a student came up behind me while I was sitting at my desk and I turned on her like I was about the karate chop her little butt through the window:brucelee::naughty:. She backed away with a look of shock and fear and that was that! I had to go out in the hallway and chuckle at that one.

Sometimes you hust gotta shoot folk the look and they get the hint.
