For those who say its all hers..how exactly do you know for sure?

The Torontonian black Caribbean community is fairly small. Everyone is connected to everyone. When Keshia Chante first came out on the scene and moved from Ottawa to a high school in the Greater Toronto Area, a lot of people in Brampton know her.. a friend of mine knows her, the hair is real

I'm such a big fan of Aaliyah's ever since she first came out and Keshia has an uncanny resemblance to her. I always loved the fact that Aaliyah was very well spoken, mysterious, lady-like and very very ambitious. I think that Keshia has the talent to capture the essence of Aaliyah in a movie and stay true to who Aaliyah was. Keshia seems to be a very fun loving person and I look forward to seeing the movie

i think it is her hair. in one of my back issues of sophisticates black hair mag(cant remember which issue sorry) she was in there and she says its actually hers. she says when it dries it gets big so im guessing she natural....it was a small feature not a full interview but im sure once the movie is out she'll have a full interview in it....

She doesn't have to look exactly like Aaliyah in order to play her in a movie. Many actors have to get made up to look like the person they are portraying. Beyonce doesn't look like Etta James, Jamie fox does not look like Ray and so on..Believe me, when they get done with this kiesha chic, she will resemble Aaliyah in the movie.

In June 2009, Drake did two remixes to Chante's song "Fallen" where he addresses his love for her, on Version 1 he raps "Keshia, Keshia, do you remember the old us? They said we'd never be together that's what they told us. Immature kids, to entrepreneur kids." then on Version 2, he raps "you just hold it down for your boy until the plaques arrive, that's why I love you."

MuchMusic later asked Chanté on how she felt about what Drake. She kept mum, later saying, "I will love that man unconditionally for the rest of my life. He knows what it is. We have history. I've known him since I was a little girl. We just have a love/hate relationship, so I prefer to love him from afar."

Aww! Keisha, we use to do alot of shows together with my former artist back in the day.

That is ALL Keisha's hair. I guarantee you. Her mother is her manager Tess, and we would hang at shows/shoot the ****. Her mom is Portgeguese and her dad is black. In fact some thought my daughter was her little sister when i use to bring my kids around. they kinda resemble.

anyhow i don't think she looks like AAliyah either but they do favour slightly.

Er..at certain angles..sometimes she kinda sorta resembles Aaliyah. LOL But at any rate she is beautiful and I likewise can't wait to see the movie.
