SunSilk- the green bottle. jury's still out

Elasta QP Feels like silk- I hated it at first, but now I'm seeing that it's the only gel that doesn't clump up when combined with Elasta-QP Recovery Moisturizing leave-in. jury's also still out
 
Hit: usual glycerine and water mix, this time one part water to one part glycerine = great moisture
Miss: Hello Hydration conditioner....I much prefer the regular herbal essences conditioner

I remember years ago....this ish broke my hair off and dried it out like a muther!:mad:

Geeesh!!!!!!!!!! Finally finished reading all these darn posts. My goodness it took me forever. Anywho;

HITS: NTM silk touch, S-curl and Jam
Coconut oil gives awesome shine
ORS deep penetrating condish-THE ISH!!!!!!!!!

MISSES: Mane n Tail leave-in condish-didn't do anything for me
ORS hair mayo-did nothing for me

Still on the fence with amla oil. Only used it once as a pre-poo.

Anticipating this Aveda line I'm hearing about. Oh and DPR-11!

Alter Ego Cren - my shedding has dramatically decreased, but I don't know if it's just the Alter Ego or a combination of the products I'm using that's doing the trick. I'm not complaining though!
 
MISS: Hello Hydration.
I am going to give it one more try but this stuff did NADA for me. I DC after clarifying and then rollerset. My hair was tangled like crazy while trying to rollerset it and my curls were not bouncy and shiny at all. They looked dry and hard. YUCK!

Miss: NTM Daily Deep- I bought this thinking it would help me detangle my 9 weeks post hair but it didn't. I had more tangles then I usually do. I might give it another go after I relax, otherwise its going to go to charity.
 
Hit! - My maxiglide! I'm so glad I splurged and bought my maxiglide. I have entered into a new era of hair care with this flat iron. It straightens my hair better than a press. That's saying a lot as a 4a/b natural.

Hit - Lustrasilk anti-humidity spray. Keeps that flat ironed hair straightened out, keeps those frizzies away. Glad I kept this product, never used it before.
 
HITS:

Aubrey Organics White Camellia and Jasmine Shine Conditioner Spray!!!! I have FINALLY found a leave-in that I like. It's a liquid spray (no protein for those who are sensitive like me). :grin:

Coconut Oil!!!!!! :love: OOOOHHH the softness and the shine! I'm sorry Jojoba, you've served me well for the past 9 months, but you have officially been replaced!

Hit: Salerm Placenta Restructerer

I had a treatment on Saturday and I have not seen a single broken hair yet!!! I think my breakage problems may be over...
 
Hit: QP Mango Butter. my hair just LOVES this stuff. The Yellow Mega Growth Profectiv. Fantastic stuff. I hadn't used it in about six months or so and my hair likes it a lot.

Miss: The Pink Profectiv cream. I think my hair rejected it. And I didn't like the way it smells.
 
HIT: eBay, lol!! I'm making Meg too much dern money!! But just so ya'll know, MTG is on sale for ~$21 including shipping! I want a scalp oil, and since folks are claiming increased growth with MTG I might as well pretend to be a pretty pony (and get one, too!! I'm corny, huh :lachen: )!! I also need to re-stock my peppermint oil (I use it ALL OVER my house), so I'll mask the scent with that. Anyone mind bumping the thread with scent-masking ideas for me?? TIA!!

Man, I just read what this product does, it's on my gotta get list. It has ALL of the good ingrediants, and it's good for your scalp and hair. It promotes healthy hair and newgrowth! The only thing it looks like it doesn't do is wash your car. You can get a 4 treatment pack or a 32 treatment pack...
This is going on my wish list!

Did you have it done at a salon or did you do it yourself? If you did it yourself, where did you purchase it from. I'm doing price comparisons now. Ebay has it but it's as high as Metrobeauty.com

I went to the Salerm Salon. She put about half a vial in my hair as a leave in before roller setting. I picked up the package to see what it was when she wasn't looking. I'm going back for another treatment in 3 weeks. I'm so proud of how my hair turned out, I was bold enough to post a pic. My hair was a bit too soft to hold the style, but still absolutely no breakage.

ETA: I just took my wrap down to make sure I'm not lying to you all. Again, no breakage and no shed hairs either. I combed lightly with a wide-tooth though. My hair was ravaged by a bad relaxer in August, so this is a really big deal for me!
