More questions for Foxybronx

Hello, and thanks for responding to my pm.

I thought I'd post under your thread because I noticed no one asked you the following questions and you and I just MAY have similar hair types:

1) How do you wear your hair for daily styling? (Bun, faux ponytail, down, etc.)

2) How do you wear your hair to bed? (i.e. wrapping, braiding, etc.)

3) Do you exercise? Drink lots of water?

Your pics are a perfect progress report any your hair is gorgeous!

Thanks in advance,
AZ

Re: More questions for Foxybronx

Hey AZJeepgirl,
Good question, I didn't even think to put that in my regime. I do wear a fonypony off and on. I don't wear it consistently enough though, I mainly wear it about 3-4 weeks before my touch ups when I can't do anything with my hair. I usually wear my hair in a bun and out at times. My biggest problem is protective styles because I don't like them, I just wanna wear my hair out

I used to wrap my hair every night when i'd wear it out, or i sleep with it in a bun when i wear my fonypony. For the last week I have been wearing my hair in a high ponytail and I roll my ponytail with a large magnetic roller to give my hair a slight bend/curl. In the morning i put it in a bun or wear it out.

I don't exercise, except for my yoga class that i take in school 2x a week for 75 minutes. I am starting to drink more water, b/c i am taking vits. HTH

Re: More questions for Foxybronx

Haha...cool! I hear ya about the protective styling. It almost defeats the purpose of growing out your hair cause you wanna look cute but at the same time, you need to protect the ends.

Sigh, what's a "growing" girl to do?

I don't like my face shape, so I definitely prefer my hair down but I'm starting to say, fuggedaboudit, and sport the faux-ny tail!

It's been working nicely and I notice my ends stay moisturized all day which is something new for me. But I get sick of wearing my hair in one style.

Oh well!

Oh and one more thing? What is your hair type, do you think?

Re: More questions for Foxybronx

Yep we are in the same place, I think I look better with my hair down and i get sick of wearing the same style too. But i guess the results will be worth it..

Are you using S-Curl too? Adrienne got me hooked on the stuff..my hair is staying moisturized even when i wear it out now..especially if i add some castor oil on top of the activator..hair heaven..

I am definitely 4a/b..I am not sure which though because some areas have a curl pattern some don't. But it is definetly coarse and thick.

and the compliment!!

Thanks greenIdlasdy, naga, asumertyme, singingstar12, april, and Tonya for all your compliments! You got a girl blushing hard over here.

Oh wow peachtree, YOU saying that you like my hair, is like Halle Berry saying i am pretty. It is an ultracompliment, ur one of my hair idols.

Kenyana, Tonya and april... my regime changes so much, but the majority of it has stayed the same. I found a few staple products (breakthru shampoo, humecto, affirm 5n1, razac leave in, profectiv 3phase oil. I am washing my hair anywhere from 2x-4x a week. With a deep condition 1x-2x a week.I am using breakthru shampoo. Lathering 2x. If it is a quick wash I use suave humectant as the instant conditioner. When i deep condition I use humecto for moisture, and affirm 5n1 for protein with my heat cap. I ALWAYS use razac leave in after i rinse out the conditioner. I detangle with my jilbere shower comb. I still don't use heat, I am occasionally using my caruso rollers after I air dry. I am looking for a way to airdry my hair and still have it looking good because I am no longer able to do the wet wrap. I am still using scurl, not as much as i used to though. I want to get back to hot oils, and acv rinses but i am too lazy at the moment.

Foxy, it's weird hearing you call yourself a newbie, because I am used to linking you and the BHCAB site. You know you got this hair thing down to a science!!! Welcome!!!
