Newbie Challenge Members - November Update

I've been doing okay so far with the challenge. I couldn't stretch my relaxer to 12 wks like I intended to and got a touch-up at 10wks instead, which is still good for me b/c usually I get a touch-up at 4-6wks. I've been moisturizing and I've used heat twice (:look: ). I'm vowing to not use it at all this month forward until the challenge is over. After my relaxer, I cut off about of an inch more of damaged ends and I've been wearing an instant weave and removing it every night. Now if I could just get started with the exercising, I'd be on a roll.
 
Its been going alright for me. Like PinkPebbles I've had times when I was just soooo tired I was tempted to blowdry, but somehow I've managed to find alternatives - like a quick twistout instead of 2 hours rollersetting.
Things that haven't gone so well are:

Finding a moisturiser I'm convinced about - I may just try water like DSylla and loveya4eva, then seal with an oil

Exercising - I'm just too lazy and this needs to change

Protein/Moisture balance - I'm still deciding whether I should alternate these deep treatments every week or whether I should mix protein with moisture conditioners and use this every week :scratchch. So far I think that perhaps alternating is giving better results.
 
i have been doing ok. I still use the flat iron but once a week and I air dry. I haven't really been excerising, but I walk to work from my car about three to four blocks fast past, and I have been drinking a lot of water since I was pregnant earlier this year. I did get a nice bit of growth though from Oct to Nov. I have pics in my fotki.
