Naturals/Transitioners- No Heat Challenge

I've been heat free since May 2005

I DO NOT think I am cut out for this challenge.

I tried a personal no heat challenge at the beginning of this month and if my hair were not in micro braids I would be reaching for my pressing stylist's number now!!

For some reason, my hair doesn't look beautiful natural- i have different hair textures on my big head. Natural twists- twist outs- just doesnt work. My shrinkage is ridiculous. I don't know what products i could use to enhance my curls or waves. And I don't know how to cornrow. I know, my hair is doomed.

I caved in and got a blow out at the dominicans. It's getting too cold!!!

How did the maxiglide work? I have been hearing about it but never tried it.

It worked great, if you want flat lifeless hair j/k, it did a pretty good job straightening my hair, I took pics if you are interested in seeing them.

Haha, same here...instead of creamy crack I guess the maxiglide is hot heroin

you are silly. I had not pressed in 10.5 months and then got the Maxiglide, I was determined not to use it, but I just had to see, how it worked, got my fix, now I am ok

I haven't used heat since 2003 and I don't plan on using it again anytime soon.....Finally, a challenge that I can commit to.

BUMPING FOR THE 06. I really feel no heat and twist challenge has helped me retain lenght.
