aphogee- pronounced like the word apogee except they put a PH, get it? PH of the hair, apogee, etc.

although i'm one to talk, i've been calling phytorelaxer 'photorelaxer' this entire time, lol.

LOL I was just reading libra08 post about jojoba oil. The funny thing is when I was reading it I said jo.jo.ba oil basically I just learned how to pronounce it

Had no idea what or who was Nikos cousin...thanks to the poster that already answered this in this thread.

Even though I knew what EVOO was I just recently figured out what EVCO is. Funny thing is I was already using EVCO when I found out what is was...:lachen:

Still can't pronounce Joico. Is it joy-co or joy-c-o?

Have not a clue what MN is.

Luckily I caught on quick with the LHCF lingo (prolly 'cause I was on here all the time), of course there were like one or two that I couldn't figure out until later. The last one I couldn't figure out was GVP, but I asked in the dumb question thread and got my answer.

But, OP, instead of thinking CO wash meant two shampoos, I actually thought for a while that it simply meant washing with the two things: shampoo & conditioner, and I kept wondering why do people keep specifying that they are washing w/ shampoo then conditioner. :ohwell:

Ok I'll confuse - I've only been here since Feb but when I was reading and I couldn't find the meaning of Co wash I was thinking ummm you have a party get with another person and that person washes your hair...I'm not one to ask a lot of questions so it took me lots of reading and a couple months to figure out it was conditioner washing and I could do it alone lol

I was told, very matter-of-factly by the sales lady that its pronounced JOY-KO with a hard c sound... I said it with a soft c like joy-so. I was like:ohwell: She know what I meant! LOL

Here's mine, when I was younger (around 7 or 8) , my big cousin used to do my hair and she used hair lotion sometimes. Well one day me and some other cousins of mine were sitting around my father's house and decided to "do" each other's hair. They were like a year or so older than me. So I went into the bathroom, and grabbed this creamy stuff that I assumed was hair lotion. I told my cousin that's what it was and proceeded to put it in her hair, while at the same time she was putting it in another cousin's hair. Next thing I know my dad's girlfriend caught us and grabbed both my cousins and rushed to wash the "hair lotion" out of their hair. Turned out to be a relaxer :ohwell:

When I first became a member I was checking profiles and I noticed the list of friends and the friend request button.

I never clicked the button because I thought I had to send some sort of email explaining why I wanted to be your friend or say, can I be your friend? :look:

I just kept thinking someone was going to say, "No, I don't know you!" :lachen:

oh no! they should put a big scary label on it so that kids wont want to grab it.

what happened to your hair after that?

Ok this isn't hair related, but I STILL can't say gyro. You know the sandwich..LOL I saw Jeye-row. How you say it???

LOL! I have to ask the Indian man at my local "Great Wraps" every time I go! He looks at me like Im crazy cause I still ask when I go just to make sure I got it right! :lachen:

Its pronunced GEE-ROW with a soft "G" sound by the Indians, and "YEE-ROW" by traditional Greeks. I believe that technically "YEE-ROW" is the most correct.

My first language is French:yep: I doubt «bre» is a person otherwise it would have been «Bre» with a capital B... if it is the case I feel even dumber:lachen:
