Hey girl. It’s been very up and down. Today was my first day back at work and the distraction was what I needed. Someone on this board messaged me about Grief Share, which is a bereavement group and I found one and went this past weekend. It was really helpful, even though I was the youngest person there by decades.
It’s a little hard watching friends get engaged recently, and I’m just trying not to be in my thoughts so much with the comparison games. I knew it was gonna be hard, but certainly not this much. I finally feel like I can put one foot in front of the other, but it’s gonna be a while before I get used to the new me.
