Molded CES

Does this look like mold? I just bought a new jar of Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie and noticed black dots in the side of the jar. It has and expiration date of 2/15/2015 on the jar. I have never noticed any colored particles in this product before, and I use it quite often. Should I return it?

I will. I found two more spots in the jar. Kinda grossed out.

Look at the top of the jar. There are three little spots, not huge but enough to make me think I should return it.
