MidBack Length 2007-Let's Get It!!!

Count me in. I'm hoping I can make it there by x-mas 2007.

APL to BSL is 3 inches on me. I should make it by June/July 2007. BSL to Mid-back is another 3 inches. If I don't have ANY setbacks or trims I should make it by Dec 27, 2007 as well. I'm IN, although I'm keeping my official goal as BSL. Mid-back is just gravy and will give me the opportunity for a deep trim, assuming I need one.

Thats when I started measuring last year 12/17/05 :D

Im clipping in Jan07 and trying to grow from there :D

Count me in! My goal is to make MBL by mid-June 2007. I'm about 1.5-2 inches to BSL right now and hope to make that by the end of December this year.
 
I don't know WHY I had DEC 2006 as my date. My date is April 27, 2007. I think it states that in my fotki.

I see mass newgrowth but not a lot of length. I hope it's just shrinkage:confused:

Yes, its definitely shrinkage! Once you relax that new growth you'll see the length!

Kinda OT: But when you wash and your hair is wet (before you relax) how long is your hair?

Yeah, it is. Even after fresh wash/roller wrap, if my roots are crinkly with new growth, the full length doesnt show. Once I relax it I do see a difference usually.

When my hair is wet, its at its longest. The water stretches it down my back so it looks very long (albeit thin). I havent seen it wet in a while..... I'll find out exactly how long it is when I do my Aphogee treatment this Friday.
 
I'm hoping to make it MBL earlier than the date I set. Then, I will trim it and maintain the length while I try to get it to thicken up.

I was just about try to join this challenge and realized me name is up there. :) You are sweet.

I'm still gonna get on this. I got about 2 inches to go before I real my goal of a solid midback. So I'm on this with you all. I am setting my goal for solid, unmistakable midback around 3/2007.

I'm setting my date for April, 2007. I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing. I think I'm going to let my layers grow out, but we'll see.

O/T: Kini, my 10 year reunion is next year too! I feel so old!:lol:

I plan to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize, protein, etc to make this happen! Also no heat but every 1 1/2 mos-2 mos! I'm ready!!:D

I'm just curious, Mizani.....your hair is almost BSL. Your hair should definitely be MBL well before Dec. of next year. Even with 1/2 inch of hair growth a month and factoring in a couple of trims, you still should be MBL before then.

Why the conservative estimate? :lol:

ETA- Ok, I saw your thread where you put your date for April 2007. That is the date I will set for MBL for myself as well, because that will also be my one year anniversary for the LHCF.

BTW, I also have a lot of new growth and shrinkage, the two go hand in hand. It'll be exciting once you get a touch up to see how much your hair has grown! :D

ETA- Forgot, my regimen consists of washing and DC every Saturday, wash and DC every Tuesday, or CW on Tuesdays. I airdry my hair, I haven't used a blow-fryer since February. I take a multi-vitamin, a calcium pill, a Nioxin vitamin, and 2 Future Biotics Hair, Skin And Nails vitamins twice a day. I wear protective styles that consits of buns, pinned up, or with a bear claw clip. I only use heat once in a great while. I'm trying to keep it simple. :)

I'm scurrrrrred. why am i the only who's a chicken? I seriously have not joined any challenges for fear of not reaching my goals. :( I think i need to seek counseling or something.... :look: Well since i'm about 1inch from BSL, i'll take a leap of faith here.... Ladies count me in!!! MBL by Sept 23, 2007 which is my hubby's bday and we always throw him a huge bday bash/cookout. So i would like to look fabulous for this event!

I believe in using heat and wearing my hair out daily, so i've set my goal very low.... :look:

Ok, I think I want to join this challenge. I'm kind of at BSL now, but I want to be able to do a blunt cut (although, I'm not sure I'll do it:lol: ) at BSL before I'll consider myself there. :D I'm hoping I'll be there by December. My goals are:

I'm getting a trim this coming wednesday and I HOPE I will still be either RIGHT BELOW brastrap or 1" below. I considered that midback, BUT I'd like to set a new goal for the "in-between" but in the meantime i want super healthy, blunt ends.. not walking around in buns all the time anymore.

I want to reach my goal but goodness i'm only 17, turning 18 soon, and i'm tired of looking matronly everyfreakinwhere! So I will grow hair half-way between BSL and waistlength while still getting to wear it out when i want to, and still protecting it when I should:)

OH BOY... I WISH it had been like that for real. The hairdresser ended up cutting nearly 5 whole inches of hair, which put me about 2 inches ABOVE brastrap. It's been almost 4 months since the cut, so I'm hoping that I'm at BSL now. I will check on Saturday after I get a blowout. Either that, or I'll be half-inch away from BSL. (crosses fingers)

so... I'm in this challenge again! I'm hoping to be at midback length in early 2007... but to give myself time, I say May 2007.

pretty close to my ultimate goal, which I hope to reach in July 2007, for my 19th birthday:)
 
I am just about an inch or two from armpit so i will there by the end of the year. I need 6 inches to be an inch past bra strap so i want to join. I will probably be there in Dec 2007.
 
Hmm, well since folks are getting all specific and what not (*smile*) Im gonna change mine from Apr 2007 to April 4, 2007! That is my 28th birthday, and that would be the BEST gift i could give to myself!!! :grin:
