Wow, thank you all for the comments.
I don't get blowouts anymore, I just get it flatironed. I also got a color gloss which is responsible for the shine. As far as my regimen, I've been conditioning almost every other day, baggying, and just being plain nice to my hair. I don't get it straightened or do it myself that much. As a matter of fact, the last time I flatironed other than yesterday was in July. I consider myself a straight natural but I do wear puffs and buns (allows me to condition wash) Monday thru Friday and then maybe a fall on the weekend.
My staples areSuave Clarifying shampoo, ORS hair mayo, and Nexxus Humectruss. I also use Cassia a few times a month with coconut mil, alma oil, and some conditioner. I keep my hair moisturized and sealed although it still gets dry from time to time. I use distilled water for spritzing my hair. Basically that is it. No magic potions or topicals. However, I do drink carrot juice almost everyday and aloe vera juice a couple times a week. I took a hiatus from the protein for a while. Vitamins I take for my hair include biotin, b-5, flax, and silica.

Well ladies, I went and got my hair done today because I couldn't take the suspense of waiting until December 2007 to do a reveal so I decided to post my pics now. I cut off almost all of my hair in July 2006 of last year and here I am now 14 months later with a nice head of hair. I've had several "dustings" since then and my hair has progressed to a point where I'm happy but not overjoyed!!!!l LOL.
My ultimate goal is midback length but for now I'm happy looking forward to APL in a few months(think December or January!!!)
I would like to send a special shoutout to those ladies who haven't never had a full head of long hair:
WhipEffectz1 never did have any hair as a little girl or in high school. The longest my hair ever was probably a little below my ear. If you take care of your hair then it will reward you and grow like mine has. I'm glad that I found LongHairCareForum. The road has been rough but I'm glad that I've weathered the storm!!!
