I have to take myself out of this challenge because yesterday I decided to transition and I put my hair in a lose ponytail and cut the ponytail off. So I am joining the transition support group.

I want to join!! CAN I? CAN I? I am not full brastrap yet. I am a couple of inches from it though. I would like to set my MBL goal at 12/08 because I want to be full MBL without flat ironing. I only rollerset so I always have some shrinkage because of the curls.

Same here, I want to join too. I have about 5 to 6 inches as well. The last straight pic I took was in November 2007 after my relaxer and flat iron. My next relaxer is March 21, 2008, and after I flat iron, I'll post those pics.

How's everyone doing?!

I just got a touch-up. I can't really tell how much length I've gained cuz the ends are bumped under but once the curls fall, I'll try to take some pics. It doesn't look like I had much growth but I am thankful for ANY growth, even a millimeter. I'm just crossing my fingers for no setbacks. I haven't been using heat at ALL on my hair, just wash n go's & braidouts.

It looks like the longest strands are completely covering my brastrap while most of the rest is touching it. So I am definitely on course to make my MBL goal of my bday 6/27!

My waist is only 4 inches down from the top of my brastrap so I guess I have 2 inches to go for MBL!

Hope y'all are doing well! We can do it!

I'm still plugging along. I don't know if there has been any great
amount of growth, and I haven't straightened to take any length
pics. since Dec, and I don't think I will again until June.

My goal is to reach MBL by Dec, and I'll be happy. I can then look
on to waist for the end of 2009, as long as I'm blessed with life and
health.

I am still hoping for MBL in December, the very end of december, lol. I haven't checked length since december 07, but I will at the end of this month. Although at the rate my new growth is growing I might be able to make my BSL goal sooner than june, maybe May! We'll see.

I think I'll still make it in 08 but not as soon as I was planning. I put layers in and they are NOT cute, my hair looks much thinner so I have to hold at/above bsl for a while On a side note I know its longer, I can tell, and I see it from the side, but from the back it looks the same or shorter. I don't get it.

You look full MBL to me now. I would think by next touch up you would be grazing WSL. When would consider yourself to be full MBL?

I would think I was but every now and then I see girls that are really waist length claming MBL and Im like ok...... I'm not crazy. The bottom of my brastrap to my waist is 5 inches and right now I'm 2 1/2 inches away from waist. And my waist just like everyone elses is the smallest part of my back ) ( <---- like that. So I guess I am MBL.

It depends from the bottom of my bra its 5 inches to waist. Your waist is the smallest area around your torso.

If you measure from the bottom of bra strap to waist the half way point of that would be your Mid Back.

You are definitely MBL IMO. I've also seen people claim MBL that look very close to or at WL.
