Married ladies - how many boyfriends did you have before meeting "the One"?

ETA: I guess I should clarify that I mean serious boyfriends . . . not "buddies" or anything like that

uuummm, I dated alot before getting with DH. ALOT. But I only had one serious relationship and I was engaged to that person. He was the one at that time. Now Dh is the one.

Urm, a lot? I broke up with at least 10-15 people. Two or three of them, they thought we were more serious than we actually were. Out of the 12 or so left, only 4 had any real 'long-lasting' relationship potential, but I usually saw something shinier.

I believe several of the guys I dated thought they were the one. Two approach my Dh. I had to tell my DH I don't know why that man is acting like that. I don't know if he's and man or woman under them clothes. Some people just crazy.

I had a bf during my sophmore and junior year of HS. I just knew we were going to get married one day.

I dated my sons' father during my senior year of HS. I wanted to be with him forever but he was toxic. I still wanted to marry him. I'm glad I didn't.

I met my DH when I was 15. Never in a million years did I ever think we would date later in our 20's, let alone get married. And we're still togethah...

I voted 6 - 8 then I read the part about serious boyfriends, and I would have to say in retrospect that DH has been my only serious boyfriend.

since the age of abt 15, Ive never been without a boyfriend or fiance sometimes more than one at a time (although thats nothing Im proud of) Me and the husband got married at 22 and at 27 were still going strong and I resolve to keep it tht way
