I wanted to introduce myself:

I'm West Indian Beauty, from the island of Tortola (BVI). I currently live in Atlanta GA. I've consistently lurked for a year and felt it was time I came out of hiding. I'm 4a (?) and about an inch or so away from APL. My Ultimate goal is full BSL....anymore hair than that might cause me to go into bankruptcy, as I am a product junkie (conditioners). My regimine includes me playing mixologist with my conditioners to create super moisturinzing conditioners which I apply thickly like a relaxer for overnight conditioning.

Your braid n curls are so cute! I am too lazy to sleep in rollers, so I usually just bantu knot my braid ends, but your pics are making me want to give it a try. :yep:

Thank you. I've pretty much always been natural. My mom permed my hair when I was in 5th grade and made me grow it out a year later and I've been doing my own hair since. I've only recently decided to actually focus less on styling and more on health, and low manipulation. I now pretty much only comb/deep condition/wash once every 2 weeks.
 
beautiful hair ! welcome to the board, you show off the versatility of natural hair so well with all those hair styles. whats Patchouli85's techniques :look:? really want to know cause i cant seem to get my hair straight when i flat iron since being natural
