From birth to around age 12 or 13...when I got my hair relaxed for the 1st time. Mom never trimmed my ends, my hair was long but got no longer. I now trim every 2-3 months...have been doing that since age 17.

I am 26 now.

I haven't trimmed my hair since I got it cut last year. I don't plan on trimming it again for a while, at least until it grows back to its original length.

9 months. I don't get split ends and I am relaxed and colored. I used to think it was an inherent quality of my hair but it is probably due to the protein treatments that I do faithfully. I am debating a big chop 3 (inches) when I get a relaxer (tuesday). My underprocessed and straight hair is snapping at the point where they meet. But I'll see how it looks after the rollerset. My last trim was in September.

5 months but it will be six when i get a retouch. but usually i get it trimmed every 8 weeks with my relaxer.

LONGEST I have Gone witout trimming was 2 years unfortuanately today I cut about 6-8 incches off split due to damaghed ends stringy see through pity pity now a lil below shoulders was past bra strap length

1 year for me my last trim was in june 07. And the stylists cut at least an inch off. So after that i dont trust stylists to trim my ends anymore i let my sister-in-law trim them and she says i dont need a trim.

I am currently 3.5 months post relaxer and that was my last trim as I usually do them when I relax. This is the longest I have ever gone without a trim.

Now that I'm transitioning, I need to figure out a new schedule...Mybe at the end of the summer once I start doing roller sets again?

My last trim was in October and this is the longest I've gone without trimming. I've been checking my ends randomly under the microscope at work (on my lunch break of course

!) and they still look fine so I'm going to wait until April to trim. My hope is to trim just 2x a year until I reach my length goal.

4 years is the longest. I get a trim every year in July (one month before my natural hair anniversary). My goal is to stay the same length. I have reached my length goals.

Its been 10 months so far since my last trim. The longest I waited for a tri was 2.5 years. That's when I used to self-relax and my hair was very long.

It's been 10 months and I plan to get a trim before a full year passes.

About 8 months. I just did not want to do it. I did it Sunday night. My ends were starting to look bad. I cut off about 2 inches, just to get all even and to remove splits.

I think that I am going to have to go back to rollersetting.

It's only been 2 months. I'm trying to wait until the end of September to see how much growth I got. I've been taking really good care of my ends so, so far so good.
