So far, only 4 months. But I'm planning 6 right now b/c I had a major cut in december and I don't use heat so split ends should not be an issue.

13 years, hmmm and my hair was at its longest cuz mom didnt allo me to ever straigten it so i just kept it in a big bush or cornrows. I got my first trim in eighth grade.

My last trim was in October and this is the longest I've gone without trimming. I've been checking my ends randomly under the microscope at work (on my lunch break of course

!) and they still look fine so I'm going to wait until April to trim. My hope is to trim just 2x a year until I reach my length goal.

About three years. I ain't lying. I thought, "Woo-hoo, check out those healthy ends." But then about a month ago I got the double-whammy: split ends and single-strand knots. I don't know what happened, but I had to get out the trim scissors.

Usually 5 months for me...but I will be going next month due to excessive splits in my back area.

It will only be 3 months this time.

6 months. Where in nyc can I get a trim for my natural hair and trust them to take only a 1/16th of an inch off?

I think 7 or 8 months...can't remember, but I'm counting now since I got one in Jan.

to tell you the truth I really don't know... but I know it has been over 7 months. My mom does my hair, so she does it when she thinks it needs to be done

A year....I HATE trimming my ends....I did finally even them up but even when I had raggedy ends I hated to see them go....that's probably the reason my hair looked like crap before August

my last real trim was last may 2003. Now I just trim off my split ends and I just even my hair up when I reach my goal. Which is wasit lenght.

From 3rd grade to junior year of college.... let's say...13 years?

And for some reason, it always stayed the same length, even after braids... go figure.
