This right here, exactly and like the above New Yorker said, there aren't any good,reputable black businesses out here. I'll give the Chinese, Korean or whoever my money as long as they give me the bomb product.

Humph. I figured as much. I'd really like to see this movement gain some traction.
 
The only one I know of in Houston is Brashae's off Gessner I believe.

I get that popular belief and real numbers has black people concentrated in Pearland, Missouri City and what not so nearly every good place is on the South side but I'm not. I've always wanted a decent presences on the West and North sides where I am.

Maybe one day I'll do it. I've heard that rental space is pricier but there's a lot more black people out here than people think and in this traffic I'm am not fighting 610 and Westhimer for anything hair related on my free time. I don't even shop down there because the congestion annoys me. I work there so that's enough.

I'm kinda obsessed with mine but I love life more and I'm road ragey enough most of the time
