Ladies at what age were you TRULY in love?

I love my husband and all but there was this guy I met him on the first day of sophmore yr of highschool and till this day, Ive never had feelings so strong for anyone were still good friends too

^^^ Yeah, that. I LOVE my husband but my ex was my first true love.The first week of hanging out with him I tol him I'd mary him. I've never had feelings hat strong again. We started dating when I was 15. We had been through SO much, my brother being born, my grandmother's death, my eating disorder, etc. We have A LOT of history. He meshed with my family SO well. My husband gets along with my family but my ex was a part of my family, ykwim? My family on occasion still mention that they miss him.

That being said it would have NEVER worked out and I'm glad that I married my DH. My ex and I were toxic. Also, he would have been a great dad but never would have provided for our kids. It would have been all up to me. He was lazy as heck
