I was around 13. Even though my grandmother had a beauty salon in our basement... I was sick of those hard roller sets she was doing. She would REFUSE to use a curling iron on my hair b/c it was relaxed. One day I went to a slumber party and my friends couldn't wait to get their hands on my hair to hotcurl it. So that's when I started doing my hair and my hair started to fall out!!!!!
