I know I'm not the only KimmeyTube Youtube fan on LHCF. I've seen several of her videos discussed here before.

But it seems like only yesterday I started watching her videos and her style has evolved to really trying to understand the science of natural hair care.

Anyway, in this video, she shows an update of her growth and it is amazing! She's past BSL (maybe MBL?), and it seems like she was barely APL when I first started watching.

I just love her videos and thought you could use a little porn in your life.

Her tone is not conversational ... which is ok becasue her vids are more instructional/educational. Pluss she enunciates well so that everyone can understand what she is saying. Not eveyone who watches her vids speaks fluent english or is American

anyhoooo I re her hair ... I was like:wow: when she streched it out ... I mean even if she tilted her head a bit, its still mega long.

I guess since she alsways has it in a curly style we never got to see the true llength.

Yea me neither... it so entirely too condescending to my ears. She may have good info but just by her tone, i can't get past it. I feel insulted watching her vids to be honest

OMG! I thought I was the only one! I respect her and her channel is flawless but IMO she has the tendency to be a little condescending. IDK it's something about the way she responds to different questions, she just sounds confrontational and easily exasperated. Like if you want to be the largest voice globally you should probably get used to these questions! Also I sometimes don't think she understands that there isn't ONE best way to care for natural hair. There are many that work for some and don't work for others. (i.e. crisco) Okay mini rant over her hair is gorgeous tho!

Wow where did all that darn hair come from. I am still in the beginning cause I had to pause so it could upload but WOW! UGH I need that length in my life. I was watching Longhairdon'tcare's channel yesterday just willing my hair to grow 15 inches overnight.

ETA- did you see the 7 month comparison? Maaaiiinnnne. WTF. I need to step my game up somehow. Her hair is fuller and def longer. She has some good growth which is probably more that 1/4 in per month.

Love her videos & her personality. She does seem to have a low tolerance for nonsense, which I think is great. Youtubers can be nasty & confrontational and I think she makes it clear that she is not the one to mess with unless there are facts to refute what she researched & presented.

I sort of agree. I love her vids, her multi-faceted personality, and the way she presents information is wonderful but IMHO there's a thin line between confidence and arrogance. Sometimes she comes across as arrogant. Which is fine if that floats her boat but it alienates people that would otherwise REALLY enjoy (and benefit from) all that she's bringing to the table. I am not talking about the no-nonsense aspect of her personality because I like that about her... but the arrogance is so off-putting to me. It's not always there... which is a plus.... but when it is.... I'm crossed between the side eye , , and .
