Misses::ohwell:
Creme of Nature Nourishing Conditioner. I used this as a DC and I even added evoo to it but the in shower detangling was hell. I think I will finally just throw this away or use it on my very last ends when airdrying.

Creme of Nature Lemongrass Leave-In. I used this as a leave-in on wet hair. First off, I hate the texture, it is very runny. Secondly after I applied it it felt like I put nothing on at all. Yet my hair was kinda greasy.:perplexed
Africa's Best Hair Mayo as a pre-poo. The first time I used it I got pretty decent results. But yesterday when I used it my hair felt funny after pooing, even with my CON which is rare. I washed and DCed again today (yes I was bored :look: ) without using this as a pre-poo and my hair was back to how it usually is after pooing with CON  . I think the culprit was this stuff. I think I'll pitch this too. I might give it ONE more chance.

Next Up::cool:

ORS replenishing Pak (Im gonna mix this with my DC next week just to use up this whole pak.) I think Imma stick with Motions Moisture Plus and Silicon Mix as my DCs.

Yes agreed. It to found it very runny and it did nothing. This was a miss for me as well.

On the Fence: Revlon Ceramic Hot Air Brush
Pros
-Gave my newly relaxed hair bouncy curls
-Easy to use

Cons
-A substantial amount of hair was loss in the brush...can't use this too often

Hit- Motions Moisture Plus Conditioner

This conditoner gave me lots of slip. I never had slip like that before. I sat under the dryer with it for 20 mins and after that i could glide my fingers through my hair. I was amazed:lol:

Another MMP lady!!! Hey hey. This stuff is the truth. (in the tub now!)
Crlsweetie will be in throwing up the MMP hand signs in a few minutes!

Hit:
Matrix sleek shampoo and conditioner samples....I don't feel the slip when using but once it dries it's very soft and it works. It's so humid here my hair started to look like a fuzz ball. It keeps my hair smooth. Loving it.

Miss:
I'm pissed....
Matrix sleek shampoo and conditioner..the big bottles. Got it from Walgreens and the ingredients are not the same as it is at a salon or drugstore.com. I'm taking it back.

The tub is even BETTER?

I was over here minding my business, reading....and this chile almost made me choke....so...silly.....

All I know is the tub version, I always bypass the bottles unless it's a cheapie conditioner (lawd knows I wish they made White Rain and NTM in a tub version..:ohwell: )

The 30oz tub is on sale at Sallys for $6.99 this month.

andddddddddddd...I am mad right now I was up in Sally's....and had no idea...

It's always 6.99 at my local Asian BSS. Good looking out though.

I would love to live where you do. BSS are not plentiful here, unless you want to go into the city. That same tub is $19.99 at the Asian BSS in the plaza next to Sallys here. I guess they don't shop for price comparisons.

 Holy s*&t!! 19.99?

Sorry. That distracted me for a second. Uhmm...Revisited Hit:

Redken All Soft Hair Transformer

I had gotten a two-pack of this from Ebay for 8.00 or something. I brought them out a few weeks ago and I am loving it. Will not slip on this again.

Same around my way.....I had to go back and realize it was the 30 oz being mentioned....I thought it was the big 80 oz joint that I have at home (17.99).

Sally has some good buys sometimes, but sometimes I put stuff back and I'm like I can get it cheaper at a spot in the hood...:ohwell:

MMP stopped working for me. :look:

Well, I cannot use it exclusively. My hair does not seem to "absorb" moisture from it, but I do get good shine from it. It's like it just sits there. I can only really use it every other condition or less and just use other conditioners in between.

Yeah, I did a double and triple check too. I had just left Sallys after buying it. I always check the prices of everything I buy, everywhere I go. This ABSS specializes more in high-quality hair, though they do carry full lines of beauty products.

I was in there for wig accessories and rollers, which are less expensive there than they are at Sallys. I got my ORS Replenishing bottle from them and they have ORS lye relaxers too. If I decide to go back to lye, either ORS or Mizani, I will probably be getting it from them. They also have professional, one touch-up applications of Profectiv relaxer without neutralizing shampoo/mousse or conditioner for $1.99. I might buy that for my next touch-up. So they are good for hair, wig accessories, rollers, hard-to-find, large size conditioners and relaxers.

Now that I think I have products that work well for my hair, I'm going to try to just buy replacements for things I'm close to running out of when they are on sale, (at Sally's). Yeah right! Well I can dream can't I?

Is this moisturizing? I'm thinking about skipping one wash per week and doing a cowash/dc instead.

MISSES
VO5 Tea Therapy Conditioner -left my hair feeling gummy-Trash Can

Boundless Tresses.....TRUE HIT!!!! I know for a fact that i did not under process my texlax a month ago and I can not beleive I have a mini afro for new growth already! it usually takes me about 6 weeks to get to this point! Wish my camera was working to show it.

In Between: My DR Products. They smell GREAT...but I am not too sure how my hair is reacting to them. I've used the 10 en 1, Lacio Lacio & Avocado Conditioner.....not to sure yet. :ohwell: I think I will put them on old until I texlax again in Late August. I want to give them a fair chance.

Pantene Breakage Line for Women of Color: I used this when I went to Bermuda because I needed to wash my hair after I left the Beach. It was soooo soft but yet strong! I got absolutely NO BREAKAGE! I used to use this awhile ago, but never the full line. The PJ inme wants to look into this as well...

MISS: Sally Beauty not stocking up on Fermodyl 619!!

They told me they got an order of stuff in on Tuesday. I went in there today and there was only ONE 3-pack of Fermodyl 619!! It's a conspiracy I tell you!!!

I think the Loreal Vive Smooth Intense is more moisturizing. Well I have never used the Nutrigloss conditioner in the bottle only the treatment in the tube. The Bottle may be more moisturizing. I love the Nutrigloss, but it did not replenish my moisture after an Aphogee treatment (but does any conditioner the 1st time :perplexed )

I like the Loreal Vive Smooth Intense for medium hair (vs the ones for Fine or Thick hair) because it does not have any Glycerin. My SO uses the one for thick hair and he thinks they both work the same, actually.

He won't try the Nutrigloss one because it's pink.

Ditto. This is exactly how I feel about this product. The first time I tried it, I was impressed, but the second and third times, it just didn't do much and detangling was a challenge. :ohwell:

Hit: Vo5 blueberries and cream-

Smells great. It has been discontinued for a while now but I found a couple at a big lots.

Hit: Vo5 conditioners w/olive oil as a deep conditioner.

Works as well as the more expensive brands, smells great, and leaves my hair moisturized.

Me too! And this is after I bought the tub :ohwell:
It now leaves a coated feeling on my hair. I'm going to give it a few more tries before I give it to my friend.
