Hi MissVee,

I can't tell you the REAL name on it because you know I am bad with names right?? lol I dont want to rename the stuff. But it's in a orange wrapper with a pretty indian lady on the wrapper. You can look in my fotki if you want to see it. I uploaded it last night. (last picture in my products.) HTH;)

Thanks Everyone for the input...

OT - how do you quote multiple people in one reply? Anyone know?

Hits:

Avocado Butter (OilsByNature $7.25 16oz) and Camellia oil ($7.25 16oz) Moisturized, non greasy hair, that still feels good a week later!!! Also the shipping is super fast. I ordered on a Sunday and received the goodies on Wednesday:eek:

No misses.

Ok so y'all know I had to give a shout out for Aveda! I forgot that I had the Sap Moss Concentrate Pre-poo in my closet. I tried it yesterday morning along with all of my Aveda products. I got so many compliments at church yesterday. So:

Hit:
Aveda Sap Moss Concentrate

Also I purchased the Light Elements Smooting Fluid today, so I should have a review sometime this weekend. I don't plan on wearing my hair straight for this weekend's wash, but I'm anxious to see if this fluid will make a difference with my rollerset.

Its called Swastik (means Purity):)
Thanks for pointing out the prices Letitia, I have to find a new supplier, lol!

But Ive had experiences in the Indian stores and I will say that if you get one from the store, look for the expiration date on the hair products especially the soap.

Yes BJ. Find you someone else quick.

I checked the expiration date and it was good. I was really trying to figure out why the big difference in prices so I looked at the date first to see if they were trying to sale me something old. But it was good.

Yup Yup. That is good stuff. I think I saw it as a miss a few pages back. I was thinking....Oh No, say it's not so!!! But we all know, "not everything works for everyone.":perplexed

CON Detangling Conditioning Shampoo (Green Label) - Yeah, I know. Nothing new here, but it seems that it took me months to realize how good it is at eliminating tangles and moisturizing. Too bad I only have enough for one more use. :( I would repurchase, but I still have some CON HerbaRich Moisturizing Poo and Therappe to use up first.

Motions Moisture Plus (Tub) - I have finally found a staple moisturizing DC. The search ends here. I cannot recommend this enough. I used this after I did an Emergencee treatment on wet hair. I did not feel like sitting under the dryer, so I just put it on and slid a plastic cap over my head for 15 minutes. My hair was like butter. It was so slippy. I am satisfied. I did want to try out Silicon Mix, but I wasn't able to get it in time. Oh well...

WHOPEEE!
*crl throws up the MMP gang sign!*

You Know!:D That stuff is the BOMB!

I tried a molasses treatment today and I LOVE IT! Its a staple, for sure. It made my hair so soft. I haven't seen breakage yet, but I'll wait to the end of the week. The smell was a bit overwhelming (smelling like BBQ sauce), but... the ends totally beat the means in this case.
Here's my recipe:

1/4 cup of Queen Helene Super Cholesterol
2 TBSP of Honey
2 TBSP of Molasses
Jojoba Oil
Dabur Jasmine Oil

Melt in Microwave for 15 mins. and mix. Place on hair for an 45 mins.

Mona - where are you getting the Shikakakiakikakaaki Oil?

Hit
End all - hairtoheaven - this stuff is fabulous. I was going to cut 2 inches off because my ends looked sooo dry and awful to me. Now I am going to trim 0.5" just to even them up. I use it on the rest of my hair also. It doesn't weight my hair down and it actually gives it shine. Thanks P1 this stuff is soooo good! It smells wonderful, I am tempted to taste it.

Chiming in for Mona...I have a bottle that I didn't particularly care for so she's getting mine!

IRT to the EndAll (my hair absolutely A-D-O-R-E-S this stuff), but IT'S NOT SWEET LIKE IT SMELLS. :look: :look:

Uh...:look: :wasntme: :p
Ok, I TASTED IT!! I couldn't help it, it smelled like my wedding cake, I HAD TO!!

You're welcome Mo!!

So far Nexxus Biotin Scalp Créme is a hit. It has only been a week and I swear I see new baby hair growing in on my edges! :p I even see the beginnings of sideburns! I never really liked to grow in sideburns and for the past few years or so I didn't have to worry about it...this stuff is definitely working. I suppose following the instructions (I massage it in for at least 1 1/2 minutes) is contributing to the "growth." I never really took the time to massage in other topical growth aides but I wanted to make sure I follow the instructions to a "t" with this one to get the most benefits...and besides it's a cream...you got to massage that stuff in since it's on the thick side. :perplexed

I just Dc'ed as normal with my regular conditioner, just added a teaspoon of CON shampoo to the DC.

HITS

Shikakai Oil - oooh, I like it!!
Shikakai Bar - where has this been all my life
Honeyquat - very moisturizing
Silk Amino Acids - Thank you, Sareca!!!!!
Brahmi Oil
Silk Peptide Powder
Nexxus HydraSleek conditioner

Vitale Super Reconstructor - not impressed

Honorable Mention - love these to death

Motions CPR
Alter Ego Garlic Treatment
Redken All Soft Hair Transformer

Hit:
Nacidit Avocado Conditioner

Miss:
Dr. Miracle's Temple & Nape Balm
I only used it a few times over the past two weeks and my hair has thinned out all along my edges and nape. It left my scalp sore, itchy and I have a lot of breakage in my problem area (crown) too.

Misses: :nono:

Neutrogena Triple Moisture Silk Touch Leave-in.:ohwell: In addition to the fact it was not moisturizing, it left CUUURAZY build-up on my hair. It left my hair feeling hard, mushy AND dry. If I had my receipt this would go back to the store. I did an clarifying session and an aphogee treatment and my hair is back to normal. My hair doesn't like anything LHCF likes man *whine*....:perplexed

Coming UP!:D

Motions Kids Detangling Conditioner (as a dc)
Queen Helene's Ginseng conditioner (as a DC and pre-poo)
Queen Helene's Jojoba oil as a pre-poo
One last ORS replenishing pak.

I know I need to go to Sally's at lunch before all the LHCF B'more members get there!!!!

I am buying every 619 they got!! :driver:

Hits- Baggy with homeade spray and Ebene` Shea Butter Condtioner.
Homeade Spray- Water, Jamaican Mango and Lime Leave in, Confixor (for shine and scent), castor oil. This keeps my box braids moisturized and extra shruken, just the way I like them.

I had so much to say but I just lost it all as soon I read Vixx statement stating the End All doesnt taste as good as it smell. Yup, I just lost all train of thought after that one!:lachen: :lachen: :lachen:
