Sorry, I couldn't resist. But honestly, June is all old and shriveled up anyway so lets start afresh (yes, I said "afresh")

Hits/Maybes:

Ellin Lavar entire line of products. Made my hair super shiny and soft.
Ors Olive Oil Lotion works great on my twistouts.

Misses:
None yet cuz I'm not buying Nuthing Else in July :lachen:

   Dang!!!
I was wondering who was going to start this, and how soon.
Oh, well.

I just got my SAA and Honeyquat from Lotioncrafter so I will be back to update on those. I just ordered oat and wheat protein (Sareca and Honeydew!!) so those have to be reviewed as well. I also want to try Phyto 7 and Aveda Smooth Infusion. And maybe that new Mizani Butter set (I can't remember what it's called). So, be back soon...

ETA: Well, I am about to go to Ulta so maybe I will be trying some new things.

I  this stuff. I spritz my air dried hair then roll with flexis. Curls for days!

Hits:

Henna!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Avocado butter!!!
Shealoe butter!!!

Miss:

MN for topical growth= tried it for 2 weeks, didn't like it... got scared!!!

Protein shakes= got scared... 600calories?!?... plus... when i bought it, i didn't even notice the big yellow and orange letters that said GAINER... i was too focused on the fact that it was protein and had 110 percent of my daily value in one serving... but i dont want to gain weight, just hair please!!! besides... even if i could take it without gaining a pound, 38 dollars for 14 servings is too steep for me!!! no thank you, i'll just stick with boiled eggs and tuna!!!

trying out:

Matrixs prizms clear rinse/gloss... should arrive any day now...:look:

In between: Aveda Elixir!!! I know I love Aveda but I didnt feel like this did much for me. I will give it a try after my relaxer. It might be because of my NG

Hits: BT I broke down and purchased some. No smell its great so far. Hope I get some good results from this

Bre Bre - you made me take a quick look at the calendar. I thought, man July is here already:confused:

Hit

Bespoke Labs 1200 Watts T3 Travel Blowdryer: This is the first time I blowdried my hair and my endsdid not end up fried. I applied Santa Fe Serum, Biosilk Therapy Serum, and Ultra Hair Dew Spray. My hair hair was bouncy and hanging straight at 8 weeks. My roots were still a little too puffy but the shine on my hair was so crazy! It's $130 on HSN but they let you split the payments up into 32.50 a month.

Misses

None Yet.

:lachen: :spank: :lachen: You KNOW I was so coming to start this thread this morning!!

Nothing to report...it AYN'T JUUUUUULY YET!

Is it that time already?? LOL. I thought I missed a couple of days!!  Well, I'm a newbie so I'm still experimenting. Right now, a BIG hit for me is BOUNDLESS TRESSES!! My hair is a MESS and I really think it has contributed. It also really softens my new growth and makes it have these cute little curls!! I wish I could take a picture. What a great product!!

This month I tried Qhemet Biologics Olive Cream Conditioner and Detangler, and Olive Honey Hydrating Balm. Both are HITS!!!! Moisture for days!!!

So... How about
Qhemet Amla And Olive Oil Cream and Olive Cream Detangler & Conditioner gave me the softest rollerset ever!

Qhemet Amla and Olive Oil Cream
Smells like Amla Oil moreso than olive.
Not very heavy at all, but definitely moisturizing. Melts right into your hand like an oil or butter. Made the root of my hair very very soft and manageable. I was able to finger comb my rollerset with ease. It holds the curls very well. Softest my hair has ever been.

Qhemet Olive Cream Conditioner and Detangler
I absolutely  the smell. I love coconuts and to have the smell everywhere I go is soooo intoxicating. Very soft, whipped consistancy. White as snow. I think this will be awsome to put onto damp hair, right after a good co-wash.

Did I mention, most Qhemet prouducts have MSM sulfur in them, so they are great for the scalp. Cannot stop touching my hair, its sooooo soft and shiny.

Profectiv Break-Free
I used to think this stuff was complete garbage because it was always featured in the black hair magazines. However, it really is working to stop my breakage. I think I am going to buy the whole line of treatment products. Its a tiny bit heavy, but soooo good for your ends.

Do they have to be hair products...bcuz my new diptyque firewood candle is the ish!

Hits...Im LOVING Alfaparf finishing spray it smells SOOOO GOOOD! My dominican salon used to use this and it smelled so good then and even better now!

Misses....EQP Mango butter it doesnt seem to be makin my hair feel like butter :(

Hit:
Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum: It does what it says it will do and really smooths the hair! A little really does go a long way!

On the fence:

Mizani Moisturefuse: It's a good conditioner. However, I don't think it's better than my fav/staple Dominican conditioners as my Dominican conditioners are alot more moisturizing and also provide slip. Moisturefuse lacks slip. I was expecting a bit more for the price. I highly doubt I'll be repurchasing. I'm going to try it again soon since my hair is now relaxed. Maybe I'll get spectacular results.

Mizani Puriphying Shampoo: It's cool. It cleans/clarifies without stripping my hair of moisture. However, I don't think it's any better than Pantene Pro-V clarify. They're equal to me in performance except pantene's is cheaper and Mizani has better ingredients. I'm not sure if I'll be repurchasing this one either. I'll use it up and see how it goes.
