STOP IT ! STOP IT ! Yeap they will say it's there's in a hot sec when they know it's not...i just saw jada on tv or an add...and her hair was below shoulder length but not NEARLY the length she was sporting before or since then...bangin *** lacefront....

It's funny cuz one year I saw her with a short do and the next year she was mid-back!

I can't beleive I just read this whole thread!

I think it's funny that such an innocent question about Jada's hair regimen turned into such a debate over whether it is hers or not. I'd like to know what her regimen is, myself, and I am tempted to invest in a few CD products to try them out. Maybe a sample set or something?

I think people under estimate how long ago it was since she had short hair.... I have seen her at different stages of the early 2000 and I believe it is all her's.

For a lady who isn't afraid to have her hair short, why would she need to fake it now. she comes across as a "no fuss" kinda girl, to have to be dealing with a lace front.

look at rosario dawson, I remembered when she cut her hair short (men in black 2) now her hair has grown back. And don't forget, jada isn't that tall, it wouldn't take her that long to be BSL...Whilst me on the other hand with my long torso would need to take longer

She did NOT grow her hair from bald to waist length in 1 year. She sported a short fade back in 1996. Her hair was down her back in 2006. So that was SEVERAL years before she reached that length.

Not a fan of CD's products in my hair..but I am curious to try those products that Jada uses for her wash and wear. I also believe she uses other products. I will say this again, this site has been a witness how one can grow their hair quickly if one just takes care of it. We have seen some beautiful women on here with AMAZING progress, and we question other black women about their hair progress? No offense to the site, but I am pretty sure women have been taking care of their hair way before the internet.

I can't believe I:
a) read this whole thread

b) felt the need to do this:

(The lines demonstrate, if Jada is 5'0" tall, approximate 6" increments (average yearly hair growth) in comparison to her height).

It would seem if she grows 6" of hair a year, it would take her between 3 and 3.5 years to reach BSL from bald with no cuts.
So it seems reasonable to suggest that going from a short cut in 1996 to WSL in 2006 (10 years) is more than achievable for her.

I see these threads talking about how someone came up to members and touching their hair to see if it was real, or asking them if they had a weave, stared at their hair trying to figure to find a track, blah, blah, blah
Then I look at this thread and see that we are doing the same thing to Jada, that we complain about other women doing to us on a regular basis. But maybe the members in the pervious threads are not the same ones replying to this thread

Where is the picture where you allege lacefront let me get magnifying glass? Why do we not trust other black females about what they say about their hair? Celebs wear so many weaves or wigs we really do not know what is under there unless we do the Babara Walters method grab the hair. I find it interesting that folks who kick it off leave running behind bullet proof glass or fear they are going to get stoned. Some people do not need wgo, mtg, caynne pepper,hot sauce and coochie creams to gain hair length.

....OK. I most definitely believe that's Jada's hair and it's healthy and beautiful. She has become one of my celeb hair inspirations. I visited Carol's Daughter website after seeing a picture of her. But I am on a budget concerning my hair products. As much as i wish i could use Carol's Daughter line for those results--I'll have to just get there with my Mane 'n Tail line.
