Inversion Challenge 2016 (consistency Is Key)

I have to give myself a scalp massage tonight. I haven't been doing thise for a while. I did the first day of my inversions I think but got lazy after that. Tonight I'll do it with Netwurks Excel 21.

Ok day one is complete! I didn't do a massage because I just did my yarn wraps to stretch my hair and I didn't want to mess it up. I was supposed to invert before I did the style but, alas, I forgot.
I'm exited to be back this month. I had good results last time. :afro:

Just sprayed my hair with NW Excel 21, massage for a minute or two, and did a 5 minute inversion. Today was Day 6 of my inversions - one more to go.

Day 7 of my inversions for December is finally complete :yay:. I did massage my scalp after spraying it with NW Excel 21 as well.

Day 4 done! I applied a little Wild Growth Hair Oil to my scalp and massaged with my electric scalp massager for a few minutes (lost track of how long that took because it felt so heavenly!)
Then I inverted for 4 minutes!

Hey, ladies! Is it too late for me to join this challenge or will there be a new one coming soon? Inversion is the business!

Hey everyone check out my results. Inversion really works! :yay:

The photo on the right was taken Nov. 24. The photo on the left was taken today, Dec 23.

I'm excited to continue this method next year!:wiggle:

Congratulations! Did you invert for 1 week in November and 1 week in December to get your results? Your entire, whole head of hair overall looks longer. I'm looking at the section of hair on the upper right side in your starting photo! It looks like it gained about an inch in length and the weight of the growth allowed that section to fall heavily and lay down with the rest of the hair. Great photos and wonderful results!

Thank you, @Chicoro! Yes I did an inversion in November and December. What's weird is that I tried measuring my hair with measuring tape and I only measured a 1/4 inch difference in length . But as you can see from the photo, it looks like I got an inch more or less. I think will make this shirt I'm wearing into a DIY length check shirt. I am really pleased with my results and I am looking forward to continuing this method next year! Inversion method is bae:infatuated:

I'm going to post in this thread until we hit 2017. Massaged head with XCEL 21 and a bit of sulphur oil. I inverted for 5 minutes with the timer, standing up, Aggie style.

Day # 5 of 7 of inversion!

Day # 7 of 7 of inversion for December 2016. Yeah! First week ever completed. Go me!

Sprayed my XCEl 21 and worked that in. Then massaged with moringa oil (an Indian oil). I enjoy saturating a towel in the microwave and then applying that to my head to steam in the nutrients from the oils I apply and to help relax the veins close to the scalp surface. I take niacin as part of my vitamin regimen, anyway. So, I take it before I invert. It's a natural vasodilator, too. I inverted Aggie Style for 5 minutes using my timer.

Vasodilation (pronounced váy/zoe/dilation with the accent on the first syllable. ) It is the relaxing and widening of the veins. This allows for an increase of oxygen and nutrients going to the organs. Hair follicles are mini organs, also sometimes referred to as 'organelles'. Hair follicles are ALWAYS hungry. So, the more oxygen and nutrition they can get, the better!

I do four (4) forms of vasodilation each time I invert, during my week of inversion:
  1. massage scalp= vasodilation
  2. apply 1 minute of steam heat=vasodilation
  3. take niacin (take internally)= creates vasodilation (niacin flush)
  4. perform 5 minutes of inversion=vasodilation

Each of these steps creates a vasodilation response. I'm all about optimization! Onto the 2017
Inversion thread.
