I am tailgating on this thread. I was about to make a new thread until I came across this one.

I say KUDO's to Supergirl. Girl you are soooo on top of hair care, you are truly a Hair Genius.

SuperGirl I appreciate your research.

I knew that I didn't really care for the Mizani Tx so I surfed some of SG's threads, she spoke of ceramides and how they actual repair the hair down to the cortex. I continued to look thru some of her threads in an effort to find other products that contained ceramides. I found several products that she recommended. I went shopping in my own cuppards and found Keraphix, GIRL that stuff put a halt to shedding and breakage the moment it touched my hair and my daughters. I am hoping to get the same results as the dominicans get when they do my hair not a single shed hair and absolutely no breakage.

Let me be the first to tell you, you should make your own line of products, Supergirl you are sitting on a gold mine. Make the information you have pay off. Just like the girl from Crown and Glory and the other one thats a model Wanekee(??) there's several that have done it. Why not you?

I bought this product the other nite after reading about it here. JCPenny Salon had it on sale 2 for $20 - You can mix and match all products that are over $10 originally. I also bought the Keracare essential oil which was originally like $13 I think. So THAT was a good deal!!

I used it the other nite.. LOVE the smell, its intoxicating!! I havent noticed nearly as much breakage as before. I didnt seal it w/ the oil or moisturize (I wasnt sure how it would leave my hair and didnt want to over do it) but now I know I can do both cuz it really isnt a moisturizer. Im gonna rock it for the 2 weeks 3x a week then prolly just once a week after that to see how my hair responds.. great product.

I am so glad you mentioned this sale becuase I bought this prodict once and loved it but it is sooo expensive. If Jc penney has some when I get there I am definately buying two

Well I just got back from the mall (JC Penny sell 2 for $20)with my Mizani-H20 and let me tell you I already have it on my hair I just could'nt wait
It smeellls so good this is perfect for my fine 4 type hair not too greasy or heavy.I think this one is a keeper I like I like

Okay I think I might have to add this to the list. I used emergencee and it's still breaking. Is it a strong protein conditioner? Im glad you had success with it. I know how frustrating breakage can be.

Try Emergencee again with OUT a plastic cap. Let it dry hard, even if you have to get a blow dryer and do it. Follow up with an EXCELLENT moist cond jus in case lack of moist is whats causing the breakage. Follow up with some fermodyl and a moist leave in (ORS olive oil)

If it's still breaking, do the aphogee (hard ) and follow the other instructions from above. Minus the fermodyl as the leave in, only the ors olive oil. Trust, there will be no more breakage.

And to to help , clip some of those bad ends. There are dead and will only make things worse.

I went to JC Penny yesterday and I got 2 jars of the mizani H20, a bottle of Keracare humecto and a bottle of Keracare essential oil-all for $43!

The first time I used the H2O Intense I mixed it with EVOO and honey. I used it as an overnight pre-poo.

Then I washed, used a light conditioner, and was amazed. I could comb thru my hair with out any detangler and I had no breakage. Now mind you, I have not had a perm in more then 3 years.

Then I blow dried, Maxiglided, and braided my hair. I applied it to each braid that night and sealed with olive oil.

I keep touching my braids. They feel so soft and moisturized. Not hard and crunchy. And breakage?
None.

I'm a very happy camper.

I just had to bump this thread back to the front.
I bought this two days ago and can truly say that this stuff is the truth.

What I like most is how smooth my hair is. I have found other moisturizing, softening products but have always struggled with getting perfectly smooth hair w/o having to reapply a product. Well this product did it.

Yea, I have this in my closet too... I put TOO much lemon juice in my henna (which I won't be doing again!) and used this stuff in and in ONE NIGHT my hair is back! Soft, shiny & strong. This is the only product with mineral oil that I HIGHLY reccommend! Supergirl's reccommendation to stop breakage works too. Everytime I'm falling off track - I CO wash and use Mizani and I'm good to go!

Yep, I dunno what's in this product, but I've been using it inconsistently for the past year and it always manages to combat my breakage problems. I need to use it more regularly and I'm pretty sure I'll get fabulous results. I really find the price STEEEEP, but I've decided to cut back on all the products I buy, so I'll still be able to afford this. This is a staple.

Update:

Went to J.C. Penny to get the goods and they told me that the only products on sale were styling products. I had to pay 18.00 bucks for it. I called my daughter in the ATL and she ran out and got it for the sale price. Also, there was only one in the whole Detroit area (I got it). I had them call every j.c. penney in this area and nobody had it. My daughter picked up the last two in the atl area. Man niko's cousins must be out enmasse picking this stuff up lol!!!!
