Howse at for sistas only. it was a really nice event. anyway her's was the first able i went to. her hair is some serious bidness. it's beautiful and thick. i snatched up the deep conditioner and the dew(never used before).

can someone tell me if these products are good?

i also went to the table for roundbrushair. all they were selling were silicon mix and this oil. i got the oil. its called aceite bomba. have you ever heard of it? the ingr. are cinnamon, rosemary, garlic, coconut oil, olive oil and wheat germ. they said you are supposed to massage it into your scalp 20 minutes before washing your hair. i dont see the oil on their website though.

have you used these products(not the silicon mix, just the oil and cathy howse products)? if so can you give a small review?
 
i just went to the table lol. i didnt ask names so i dont know if it was her or not. it was two ladies at the table and both had healthy atleast apl hair. looked like they just came from the dominican salon because of the wasy the curls were.

I met Jennifer from roundbrushhair. I purchased the Aceite Bomba oil from her.I didn't know for sure that was Cathy that's why I didn't speak but I agree that her hair is absolutely beautiful.
 
I havent used the Dew moisturizer and conditioner in a second....

From what i remember the dew smells good and is light and was a good spray moisturizer. (Lots of other non-liquid moisturizers are better than this to me, but if you want a spray moisturizer this ones good IMO)

The conditioner tingles/feels good, besides the smell and tingle the way it works and feels on my hair I would comare it to Aphogee 2 min. keratin.
 
Cathy seemed kind of dare i say rude. not really rude but on the defensive side. she tried to tell me my hair was greasy and when i told her it was coconut oil she was like "ar you sure, its just cocnut oil?" then it was hard for us to hear each other because of the music and i was trying to tell her i heard great things about the dew she was like "you heard what?" in that way thats makes me think she thought i said something bad about it.
but i still cant wait to try the products.

I have used any of the products but it seems like you had a good time chebaby!!! Wish I could have gone. I didnt know about it.

I don't think she is a supporter of co-washing and using oils. Cathy is straight forward and to the point. You can tell by her book. I would love to see her hair though. OP do you have any pics? I used her products until I started Mega-Teking in August. I love her Protein Deep Conditioner and Lotion Moisturizer and the Dew Spray. CH is the person who started me on my hair journey. I then found LHCF. I wonder if she knows about this site?

Cathy's advice is very common sense and makes a lot of sense, people tend to be critical of her advice like stop trimming and washing frequently. So I'm not surprised she had an "attitude." According to her website she is relaxer free since May 2004.

So, how long was her hair? The proof is in the pudding. I'm not shelling out for her products when I'm getting excellent results from my reg using drugstore condish unless her hair is the bomb.com.

As long as she's been in the hair game, she should be at LEAST waist length. If not, :nono:.

If you look at her website she seems at least BSL or MBL. But I would like to know that answer to that question myself. And she may not want waist length hair.
 
Ummmmm......judging from the pics on the site listed, she is NOT! I just went to the site listed and looked at the pics of her hair :nono: Hasn't she been at this for a while? That is so disapointing.....now I see why she was hating on Queeny!!! She was jelly of that hair, girl! :lol:
 
Yeah, I'll bet she is against hair boards... why shell out the duckets for her book when you can get the info from LHCF?

True, but she doesn't trim, right? So she sould be there by now. I want to know the answer too.

(This is just from reading other posts. I haven't read her books, so I don't know if she cuts her hair to her desired length...)

Her hair is mbl. Honestly I wasn't impressed. I mean it is long but I wasn't wowed by it. Q

Oh no she is not a member. Girl the convention was this summer and everyone was invited. It was planned for over a year. I will find some links and post them for you. Q
