I Made An Appointment To Relax My Hair.

I do have to figure out how to wrap my hair at night cuz pin curling gave me pageant hair.

No formal regimen. Wash as needed, deep conditioning at least once a month. Protein treatments every other month. Protective styling will be updos. When the new growth gets crazy wigs/half wigs

How often are your retightenings and do they run as much as a car payment?

Try cross wrapping instead

here's another option, fast forward to 5:55 to see how she wraps her hair

I hope you are able to find what works for you long term.

Personally, I will never quit the white crack. You can be natural with healthy or unhealthy hair. It depends on how it is cared for. Same goes for relaxed hair. My hair is at its healthiest in the first 8 weeks after I've relaxed it.

YES!!! :toocool: Those first 4-8 weeks after a fresh relaxer were pure bliss! If only there was a way to capture it and make it permanent. If it was I would highly consider going back, because I sure do miss my FAB wash and sets! They were perfection :gorgeous:. I set my natural hair BUT it's NOT the same.

OP Hey girl! I've been around long enough to remember your journey. You have beautiful hair natural or relaxed. Do what you feel is best. If you relax I suggest weekly wash and roller sets and not stretching past 8 weeks. My relaxed hair thrived under that regimen. Blessings <3

YES!!!! I'm a fine natural and my hair is at it's optimal when I use every six weeks! #holygrail.

In between I rotate the Joico Moisture Recovery Balm Treatment and rinse out conditioner.

LOVE Joico products!

I used that for like 8-9 months just because everyone else did  and still saw no difference. Now this here

The flat ironed pics are bootleg since the ends are bumped under. Just imagine these pics except shinier.

Overall, I'm happy with the results. I've got to watch some pincurl tutorials on the Tube of You.
Your hair looks GREAT!

Op, enjoy your hair no matter what. Whatever is easiest is my motto.

@MilkChocolateOne

Thank you! I found something in the thumbnail under your video that frees my life! Dry wrapping, I know about the Dooby. But wet-Dooby? OMGarsh! No heat, relief. I'll have to gel the hell out of it, though haha. Yeah, I gotta spend more time in the hair section. Wish they'd fix these site problems, though, posting is a bear!

The thought of running a fine tooth comb through my hair gives me hives. Even with relaxed hair.
