There was little me struggling to get this 45lb staffy into the tub. I finally get the d@mn dog in and chain him up wen I turn and find there's no dog shampoo. Of course I couldn't use people shampoo cos it's not good for their oils and I didn't use aveda or anything I reached for the MNT. I read on their site you can use it on pets too! Well suffice to say he's smelling good and looking mighty happy with himself lol

I used it like a regular conditioner but twice cos he was kinda smelly =) and there's been no ill effects so far, so if you ever run out of shampoo my opinion of CO washing for animals is go for it!

Now all he needs is some two-strand twists and he'll be good to go.

I will try the MNT on my cat at her next bath.

Oh my goodness that's genius. Off to wash the dog with MTG. I know you said MNT, but I ordered the sample kit of MTG and it came with a poo and conditioner. I never used either, but I didn't throw them away. Never occuried to me to use an animal poo on my dog.

I thought I was the only one who CO washed my doggy's hair. :sekret: People always gush over how shiny and healthy her coat is...she's a product of LHCF just like her momma.

lol the dog didn't WANT to be washed, he is downright NASTY hence the struggling and chaining up. I woke up today to remember it's his birthday so the timing was really good. He does feel extra soft and I'm gonna look into getting some 2 strand weave cos he's shorthaired rofl!

I use mnt on my furr ball and the leave-in conditioner on damp fur. Her coat comes out so shiny and soft afterwards :)

You bath your cat? I wish mine would let me bath her.
