Thanks Ladies!! Yeah the difference was like night and day. I realized that in order to get a good set I needed some thing extra to give my hair hold. I think the shine came from the curls milkshake. Anywho next time I'll take my time and roll my hair in smaller sections, I think this will eliminate all the puffiness at the roots. WOW! We really can do anything with our natural hair with very little to no heat
Thanx for posting this. I'm going to try a roller set again, I didnt let mine dry all the way so I got frizz. BTW I love your skin, its so clear and pretty and the thick shapely eyebrows...wow!!
I am still on the quest to a good roller set. I only tried it once and failed L
How do you get the rollers to stay tight on your scalp, I am convinced that I am doing something wrong with that,
I try it with the magnetic rollers the thing is at the salon the women use this on me and my hair turns out straight, they seriously only put a little bit of heat protectant and roll my hair up and clip it with bobby pins.. Is there something else I should use to clip the rollers with? When I try it I can’t get it tight I think I need to work on parting my hair evenly and maybe the rat tooth comb will help. I also might buy some of that locking gel, I had no clue you could use it when you’re NOT locking up your hair LOL.
I could try those mesh ones with a clip like you have it seems to have gotten close to your scalp, but I am afraid they won’t give me large enough curls.
I have been experimenting with flexirods with better results
