When rollerseting my hair, what should I set it with????? I've been using foam but I hate the way it comes out. Any tips and suggestions are appreciated. TIA:spinning::spinning::spinning:

I use Giovanni Direct Leave-in, then seal with either a little bit of coconut oil or serum. While setting, I use plain water in a spray bottle.

Hey sweetie,

There are no stupid questions here :yep:- we all learn from one another!

ITA with JLove. I first apply a bit of leave-in conditioner (NTM). I then use lacio-lacio and spritz each section with water before rolling. After drying and releasing the curl, I use a dab of coconut oil/evoo on my ends.

Thanks for responding. I was distracted by the shoes in your siggy:yep:. Anyhoo I think I will try that on my next set.

Thanks!! I was almost blinded by the shine on your hair. :drunk:

I always use Lottabody.....the kind you dilute w/ water. That's my favorite. Paul Mitchell has a foam that's good too.

Thanks so much Shana'. To seal, I first apply Giovanni Direct Leave-in (or leave-in of your choice) to damp (not soaking wet) hair. Then I apply a pea-sized amout of extra virgin coconut oil throughout hair (especially ends) to seal in moisture.

No, thank you!! Thanks for breaking that down for me. It sounds easy enough.
