It took me 10 hours and I still have to to curl the ends but I really just did my own kinky twist. I started off supposing just to take out a few that I didn't like when a friend of mine did them and I wind up doing them all. Some she had parted to big and the twist were too big.

Pictures below. I have room for improvement but this is a start.

I started at 5:30 last night and went to 11:00 p.m and then got up this morning at 8:00 and just finished. I also took a couple of breaks.

I need to learn how to get a more fuller style. I just to get the fuller look I make the sections closer together? Any suggestions?

I know I know:grin: but my pictures always come out horrible and the boy just left. I still have to curl the ends but I was just so exicted and I just can't hid it. :lachen:

Gurl, You know what I'm about to say right.....

:needpics:

I just did my own two days ago!! Doesn't feel so good to know that you can keep the $100 you were going to spend doing them in your pocket? Being a DIY'R is priceless!!

Congrats LadyR! I did my own on yesterday. But guess what? It only took me a total of 4 hours. After washing and conditioning, I sealed with coconut oil and plaited my hair in sections of eight then kinky twisted each section. Thank God for that kinky twist tutorial on Youtube- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5M-liCovEg

This is the best youtube tutorial out. I never would have guessed in a million years that I could do my very own kinky twists and save as much as $125-150.

I used Vienna Bob Marley hair from Sallys. I really liked it alot because it does not tangle easily and was easy to separate.
