CantBeCopied said:I don't know who bumped it, but it's a great way to put things in perspective.....cause we all will be at or have been at a place when we want to give up and Army is a good example of WHY WE SHOULD KEEP GOING!
Armyqt said:Yeah I had a few "jump of the bridge" moments during my haircare journey. Once I finally hit brastrap, I just stopped worrying about my hair. That was in January. I think I've transitioned a whole head of hair since I started on this journey. My entire head (except the last 4 inches) is underprocessed/texlaxed. I'm not feeling that right now. THe next time I relax I"m going to do it straigher. My last stretch was 8 months and after I relaxed I basically noticed no change in length. Why? Probably because of trims AND the fact the I'm just loosening the curl pattern.
I'm siked and back in the hair game again. I wanna reach waist length next year. I'm 4 months post right now and plan on going another 2 @ least. Why? Because I can and get no type of breakage at all from doing this. I attribute this my hair not being fully relaxed. Thus the texture not being very different from my real texture.
Wasitlength in 2007 or bust!!

I think my hair looks thicker more than anything. I've seen pictures of your hair before and I'm sure it's growing. Post some new pics and let us be the judge.
Hang in there. (I did during my short transition)

I'm going to do a roller set this weekend and take pictures, front side and back. Then once a month around the 20th I'll take pictures with it styled the same way. That way I'll be able to make direct comparisons. It sounds like you were doing a great hair care job! Perhaps you can continue and try to let go of the outcome for a while. It's like that when I want to loose weight. I work out, I eat right but I feel like it takes so long to get the scale to move. When I am just enjoying the process of working out and being fit, the next thing I know, I'm fitting my skinny pants!
I have to remind myself to enjoy this hair care process, trying new products, shampoos, conditioners, chatting with you wonderful ladies and then one day I'll look up and "poof" I'll have hair !!!
Come-on we need you here
