She posted them on the first page, in her 2nd response!

I'm so glad you decided to stay.

If your hair is thriving that's what's MOST important, I know we all want length but health is very important as well. If your hair is healthy, and you were struggling with setbacks, then you should definitely see some progress now that you know what works for you. And the journey won't end here - but you won't make as many mistakes.

Just to let you know - I found my first hair board in 1999. My beginning pic was taken in 2001. My hair was slightly longer in '99 than it was when I took my first progress pic. Since then it has taken me almost 4 years to go from basically shoulder length to almost (still only almost) brastrap. But my hair looks NOTHING like it did then. I say that say that what I learned is - despite length - every little bit of progress you make gets you that much closer to a gorgeous head of hair. I'm glad I've taken the journey and I still feel that my hair improves even more with each passing year. Now that I know what works for me, it's getting longer as a bonus.

I'm glad you feel better.

Exactly Tracy!

I get more compliments on how healthy my hair looks now than the length! I am happy with that...my sister who is super critical said my hair texture seems to have changed.

I know it becomes overwhelming when you put soo much time and effort into your hair and you experience setbacks. At least you do know what products work well for you and your daughter's hair, and that is a blessing within itself.

I am glad you are sticking around, we all have had setbacks, but in the long run I know your hair will continue to grow and thrive!

Your hair is stunning and it has definitely grown!!! Please don't give up. Now that you have tweeted your system, you will definitely see major growth in the next few months.

Don't give up Army, WE need you. You've always been one of my hair inspirations:) I looked at your pics by the way and I see that your hair is closer to bra strap then it was in January's photo. Looks like the tip is touching your bra strap on one side.

What are you giving up on, girl? Your hair is the BOMB!! I've always thought you had such a nice head of hair!

Hey girl, I get the same feeling sometimes. Then after feeling bad about how much energy I've put into my hair, I realize how much I learned and how many things I'm doing better now that I didn't do before.

I think it's great that after all that trimming you atleast gained an inch! Glad to see you're still in the 'game'

Please do not give up. You are one of my hair idols.

keep up with your good regime and like someone else mentioned , do not focus so much on hair , as much as it is easier said than done.

Hugs from me.

Don't quit now! Don't give up! Even if your hair is not bra strap length, it's healthy and you can still swing it!

I agree that maybe you should focus on something else but taking care of yourself should always be a priority!

Keep in mind that the more you focus on your hair, the less you can detect significant changes. I went through the same thing when I went from having very long hair to super short hair. "Watching" it grow back was like watching a blade of grass grow. I just couldn't see it.

Girl, your hair is beautiful!! We all feel like that at one time or another, I know I do. Try to enjoy your hair, take care of it, without focusing on it so much.

ITA with everyone on this board. Your hair does look great! I think you just need a mental break from obsessing over your hair. Keep up a healthy routine of course but don't think about it other than that. It works!

I totally agree!! You have a beautiful head of hair!! I know it can get frustrating -- especially when you're SO close to your goal, and that's the point where it seems to take f-o-r-e-v-e-r to actually get there!!

(I'm going through the very same thing right now!!
look.gif
) Sometimes it's better to focus on your hair's health, rather than it's length... Your hair looks very healthy, and that's really what counts the most!!
smile.gif
The length WILL come, you can believe that!! Just keep treating your hair with TLC, and don't get discouraged!!

Let me tell you something young lady...You are NOT going to leave, you were already gone too long from the board in the past

. Seriously though, your hair looks great and you are so close to brastrap that giving in is not an option.

Keep ya head up honey.

We have all been there, as a matter of fact I'm feeling just a little bit better about my hair now. I did protein deep conditionings every three days and I see a little improvement. Keep on taking care of and nourishing your hair, it will give you good results. Don't give up!

Just wanted to pop back in and give more thanks to all the ladies for uplifting me. Y'all are the best
kiss.gif
I'm definely gonna forget about length and be grateful for what I have. Hair health all the way

Armyqt you and your hair are GORGEOUS! Don't give up! I think hair is like the body when a person exercises and tries to lose weight. The body peaks and then hits a plateau for a little while b4 it peaks again. Hair is the same way to me. I believe your hair will bloom before you know it.
smile.gif

You've invested too much time to throw in the towel now. Like I said, your hair will take off and flourish before you know it. Watch and and see!

Yeah...just think of all the little people under you..If someone with as gorgeous hair as yours gives up, what's to stop someone like say, myself from giving up...I'm happy everyone motivated you! I wish there was a Michael Jackson song for this moment...his songs ALWAYS make you feel all warm, fuzzy and inspired

Armyqt, Girl....you are not alone. If it will make you feel any better I relaxed last night and I didn't see much of a change in growth either.

Thanks girl. I've never thought of my hair growth in those terms. But it makes perfectly good sense.
