How do you plan to wear your hair for the holidays

How are you ladies wearing your hair for the holidays? down, up, braids or what? I'm not sure what I'm doing yet, maybe I might put my hair in a bun:look:
 
I am going to wear my hair down. I'm going to flat iron it and take pics for the LHCF BootCamp starting pics thread. ;)
 
i was thinking of flat ironing it.... but i promised myself i would wait for a full year (last hot comb was in april)... so iono! i just want a change already!!
 
I get a touchup tomorrow with a roller set. So, I will be l have it down. Cant wait to see my progress.

Angie....your hair is beautiful BTW.
 
I flat ironed my hair on Tuesday so now I'm wearing bantu knots- I'll wear a knot out tonight for a party and try to stretch it until Sunday
 
Im going to do an ultra sheek bun. I am at the point where I cant stand to have my hair down. With me being shoulder I can just hear my ends being snagged by my shirts/jackets. My family and friends are used to seeing the bun on a regular so they wont have much to say (they are tired of talking about me).

It depends on where my SO and I go for the new year. If we go to a friends get together, I might rock my ole trusty bun but jazz it up with some pretty hair accessories and maybe just maybe have a bang but if we go out out...IDK because I don't want my hair rubbing up against my shirt, seat belt, and coat so I prolly still wear a bun either way:ohwell:

That's exactly how I feel. I figured since we're going to family members house, there's no need to look extra good:ohwell:

Lol! Yup I know how to work my weave!!!

Actually one day about a month or 2 ago I was at my fiance's church his cousin knows I have a weave and was asking me some questions about it because she couldn't believe how real it looked. Anyway that particular weave I had my weave clipped in with wig clips sewn to the tracks of hair instead of sewing them in. Anyway there were a bunch of other ladies in the bathroom who know me since I'm always there. So I decided to unclip one of the tracks at the top to further explain my clip in weave to his cousin. You should have seen their faces :eek: :eek: :eek: ! The other ladies had no idea I had a weave in they totally thought it was all my hair:grin: :lachen: ! And that's how it should be, unless I tell you I have a weave you shouldn't be able to tell...so dat's how I do, lol!

Let me stop being ghetto!

:lachen: you're too cute, I didn't realize you had a weave on your avatar. I'm off to your fotki, just maybe I might start using weaves as protective styles.
