Hide Your Hair Til April Fools 2007 Challenge

I'm still going strong! I typically wear phony ponies or falls. My hair doesn't look good (yet) when I wear it out anyway, since it's at that in-between length. 2 more months to go! My birthday is on March 30, so I'm really hoping to see some progress when this challenge is over.

I switch up too! I keep my coworkers guessing, that's for sure. I'll rock a straight pony one day, a crimped/kinky puff the next day, then a curly fall the day after that! It's fun, actually.

Oh I know! Here at UofL, we're sort of near the Ohio River so the cold drafts always hit us. I too would never dream of wearing my hair out even if I wasn't on this challenge. I think that's why I have been following this challenge so easily. The Hide uR hair 'til Fourth of July one may be more difficult for me though...

I'm still in - but hating it. Having said that I am going to bow out a little early (mid-March) as I've got some things coming up where I KNOW I'm not going to have the time to devote to protective styling. Hopefully I will still get decent growth - I've gotten 1 inch already this first month.

So far so good, I spent the last two weeks wearing my clip-in weave.

This week and the next I'm rocking crochet braids...who knows what's on the horizon after that?!

I'm glad I can do this on my own head, all these different styles would cost a small fortune otherwise!

I'm still in. I started Jan. 14 and plan to go until Easter Sunday with letting down of the hair only on SPECIAL OCCASIONS! I've phony bun,phony tail and hair clipped. This has been surprisingly easy to do since I don't have to plan styles and I am dealing with post partum shedding. However starting I am getting bored so I wanna mix it up with some falls I've been eyeing .

I did my retouch at 8 weeks yesterday because I had a ton of newgrowth and I am soooooo tempted to wear it down tomorrow because I'm happy with my progress BUT I will not do so This growth is making me really want to hide my hair so I will continue but after this year. I'm done with challenges. I will stay in the bootcamp, hide hair til april fools/hide hair til xmas, and pop ya brastrap challenges because I'm no failure but I'm done after this year

I am on the band wagon! I am wearing micro braids that I had put in in January and I plan on removing them on the 2nd day of April. I miss my hair so much but I refuse to give up. Wish me much new growth.

Angie why didn't you just use an old picture like the most recent one you had before your challenges started as a beginning pic? That's what everyone else is doing...
