I'm posting two pictures of my locs that I found interesting.
The 1st is of my sisterlocks at about 10 months with permed ends.
The 2nd is of them now at almost 2.5 years. I've recovered most of the length.
What I found interesting is that I started my SL (SL) journey with mostly permed ends which for almost a year I babied. At about a year life got in the way and I "let them be" (neglect) and lost a lot of length; once I realized the damaged I started meticulously caring for my ends again.
The 2nd picture has 1 loose lock that shows the recovered length and the neatness of the lock's circumference.
If nothing else I hope this shows that 1). You can maintain a head full of tiny locs; 2). bunning and ponytails won't necessarily pull your locks out; 3). With care you can maintain the lenght of your permed hair as you transition from Relaxed hair to locks
