Over the weekend I washed my hair, deep conditioned it with Mane & Tail Conditioner (it works!) and then did my normal routine. I ended up with shaky hair with big curls and boy did it smell good.

So he leaned in to hug me as he was walking past me in the hallway and he said, "Yum, girl your hair smells so good."

I was tickled down to my tippy toes, I believe I squealed. I really did. Then I thought of that song from Nikki Minaj's track and then I said, "I have to tell the hairboard". (lol)

I got a hair compliment from DH. He inhaled.

Lol! I hope this made you laugh. It really made me laugh.

A friend and I went to the drive-in and the whole time we're sitting watching the movie, he kept pulling a curl and placing it under his nose

I had used a new product for a twist out (some green cholesterol conditioner I found under my girlfriends sink) and thought it was too fragrant, but I guess it hit the spotLOL--I need to pick some up for myself.

I had just laid down to bed next to SO who I thought was knocked out. But he cuddled up behind me. And then "your hair smells like...*insert random grunt of disapproval here*". I turned around all fast like wth?! My hair stinks?! Turns out he was really disappointed that the coconut lemongrass transitioning cream I got from DB didn't have a strong smell. So my hair smelled like the castor oil I used to seal (he hates that smell). poor baby lol

I love when my SO thinks my hair smells nice. I purchased Pink Sugar Hair Perfume by Aquolina today for that very reason lol.

Um, I used Mane & Tail Conditioner to prepoo and Paul Mitchell's Silky Straight (which smells like a PEAR fragrance).

I really think it was the Paul Mitchell. The Mane & Tail conditioner makes my hair really swingy if I rinse thoroughly. I just love how good that compliment made me feel.

Believe it or not, since hitting BSL I am eager for compliments. (lol) But I do not solicit compliments. I just wait for them and then...squeal or shriek in happiness and enjoy!

DH and I were having some "alone" time the other night and he had his hands and nose all in my fro. He said my hair smelled good and he had never really done that before.

To tell the truth, when trying to hold onto a style for an entire week, hair may not be the freshest that it could be...at least for me.

So I'm enjoying the benefit of my weekly 1x wash/2-3x co-wash regimen.

I don't mind getting up looking like Florida Evans after a tussle.
