If so tell me how it went, or how it's going and what length you started out with and where you are now.
This morning, I was sitting in my stylist's chair while she was doing my hair and saw a hot comb nearby. I asked her if she uses that hot comb much anymore. She said, "I have quite a few naturals but most of them prefer I blow them dry and flat iron... why?" I told her that I wish I could transition. She said, "Well let's do it!"
Having tried a couple times before on my own was a mess of fragile strands and little breakage but I know with her help, I can. She's very much into healthy hair and is picky picky picky about damage. She refuses to color my hair all over and won't give me streaks except in areas of my head where my hair is strongest AND only during the summer because my hair is not as dry. Yes, THAT PICKY.
She warned me that it's going to get tough at times and we're going to deal with a lot of conditioning (as if this board didn't teach me that), but I will love the end results. I'm soooo ready for this because I watched her transition a high school girl who kept her bra strap length hair with the exception of a couple of inches.
She told me winter was the best time to transition (maybe she meant for me, I dunno) and she knows I'm a PJ so she said she's going to put me on new hair products as my hair's need changes. I'm sooo excited. Can't wait to get my hair stronger and thicker and growing faster.
