My Daughters Transition Album update

This is getting to be a real job her hair is SUPER THICK.
The relaxed and natural hairs are bangin like bloods and crips.
I almost ended the transition on thanksgiving but she said no.
There are pics of the many states of her hair.
I think I am going to stop doing mini chops on her hair and just
trim it I am starting to get curious just how long her hair will grow
and since she doesnt mind transitioning I just might try to see this
growth experiment/transition thru for as long as possible

lovely: we keep it simple wash or con-wash braid and occasionally press. This is the 1st press since late aug.

Wow, ur doing an excellent job with her transition. I have a couple of questions...
1) How much longer will she transition?

OOO Girl all that detangling would drive me crazy, but she's really a good trooper during her transition, but don't cut all the baby's hair off...

I've recently started using PCJ kiddie detangler, and it helps really well with detangling. That might make the detangling go faster with your daughter.

miss brown i will pick out & scan some pics of her natural the 1st time around

hair buddy detangling actually doesnt take long i comb it out b4 the wash wash in sections in one direction and comb thru while wet/with activator. WORLDS OF CURLS IS MY BESTEST FRIEND!!!

jdbdfly i migh look into the kiddie detangler not because I am a PJ but because uhhhhhhhhhhhh she needs her own products yeah she needs her own (& it is neat trying new products)

What a pretty little diva (just like her Momma)- her hair is getting so long and thick. That's so wonderful that she has you to help her get through this transition. What did you use to flatiron her hair?

I thought my daughter had thick hair when ever she say mommy wash my hair I give her twenty bucks and send her to the salon. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif Lovely hair she has keep on what ever your doing if she don't mind and your arms are not tired.

diva: My mom pressed it but i go over it with my cheapo conair ceramic

so1913:I'm kind of jealous too especially when i see how much she looses in a detangle vs how much i loose (lip poked out)

nappyme: the trick is we pop in a movie before i pull out the mega comb, yeah we have to find a stylist we trust but since the last incident at the salon she literally has SALON PHOBIA, BLOWDRY PHOBIA, AND PRESS PHOBIA. she would say i want my hair straight then whe it was time to do it she would be like ummmmmmmmmm nevermind just braid it up. pobrecita!

Wow! Her hair looks fabulous! I can see why you wanna chop the rest of the relaxed hair off...bloods and crips for real!!! The newgrowth is absolutely thick and beautiful.
