I say a solid A.

I am staying with my routine of nourishing my hair and low manipulation. The results are really good as you can see in my siggy.

I give myself a B-......I achieved a lot and found my staples as well but within the past 2 weeks I haven't been baggying and my 'Wash Hair Days' have been 24hrs late

It's been almost a year & I have learned so much!

I poo & con 2x/week. I have a couple of poo/con combos so that I can switch-it-up every once in a while. I have learned to make the last rinse a cool/cold one-adds shine. I don't DC much, but it is something I would like to make time for.

I have learned to airdry-my hair is showing me it likes it much better. I would lose so much hair when I blow-dried.

I just learned how to cross-wrap which allows my hair to get straight w/o flat-ironing, and ads body w/o curling/bumping. This is helping my hair alot already.

I have used MN mixes which provide growth, and now I'm trying BT & expecting some good things from it, esp. around my edges & in my thinning area at the top-front of my head.

I have learned the art of self-trimming.
I tie my hair in a silk scarf every nite regardless of how tired.

When I use heat I have my CSI.

I use SAA for better relaxing sessions and as a protein spray after poo/con.

I love NTM leave-in serum, La Bomba, & Lacio Lacio- sometimes I mix them ALL for MAJOR benefit.

I've learned to rollerset, but I'm not crazy about them. I've also learned how to NOT use setting lotions- so not necessary!

I also have learned to stretch, but no longer than 12 weeks (after causes major breakage/shedding).

Oh, and my FAV- HENDIGO!!!!

So overall I give myself an A-. I have learned to do things I never thought I'd do!

Taking my vitamins....A+

Moisturizing..... A+

Water intake....B+

Length of hair.....C- (my hair should be longer than what it is...stupid setbacks :wallbash: I feel forever STUCK at CBL  )

Low manipulation....I'm bumping myself up to a A since I'm now doing C&G

Exercise....F- (I really need to get on the ball with that...ugh)

Overall I'd give myself a B+

I'll give myself an B-

I wash and deep condition weekly: pre-poo overnight with ojon

I moisturize ends and baggy everynight. Then cover hair with silk scarf.

I exercised 3 days this week, drink 8-10 glasses of water everyday (trying to get to 6 days).

However- ran out of my multi-vitamin and borage oil.

I am gonna go out on a limb and give myself a 100%!:D

I have been stretching for 12-14 weeks at a time.

Deep conditioning, once a week. No combing except wash day.

I found cheap staples and I actually STICK to the regimen.

I stay in baggies/protective pony 24/7, and I haven't touched a flat iron in going on 6 mos.

I dropped the vitamins except MSM and I am still seeing good results, I don't need them (maybe a multi-vit and that's it).

Drinking 2 liters of water! My face has cleared up too!

So that is a 100% A+

But this weekend however, I plan on rollersetting...:look: So that will probably knock me to 90% A-

D+.....

I've done nothing but im going back on the grind soon as schol over!

i got 4 inch! and two new inchs of growth..only 20 more inchs to go...

Cool Thread! I give myself an A.

Yesterday I did my ACV/EVOO/Avacado pre-poo, Shampoo, Emergencee, and I DC'd with ORS Mayo. I was a little apprehensive about the Mayo because while it is a moisturizer it also contains proteins but I guess my hair loves it because today it feels like I went to the salon, a GREAT visit to the salon. My hair has done a complete 180 from last week when my stylist overlapped on my touch-up. It feels thick, healthy, and strong. No tangles or breakage, I can run my hands through it and it's just a shining! I believe I've found some staples and a good fail proof regimen and so I'm replacing my every 2 week visit to the salon with my own arms and hands and I'm thinking I'll switch to weekly washes and DC's instead of bi-weekly. The good thing about bi-weekly though is my heat usage will be broken down to twice a month instead 4. I always air-dry with my hair wrapped, take it down the next day then flat iron, always using a heat protectant. With that I'll be good for the week or two, I'll see how I feel next week. But I really feel like I'm on the right track and it's all thanks to this board and all the support.

I will give myself an A because I do my weekly wash/deep conditions, take my vitamins faithfully, getting good growth, moisturize my hair daily, do my weekly protein treatments, gets no breakage and very little to no shedding, and I have upped my water intake. I also do not use any heat. I would give myself an A+ but I'm not until I learn how to do a mean roller set:D I gave myself a trim (for the 1st time) and I am very proud of myself:grin: the last trim before that was June 06. IT WAS TIME because my hair was uneven. I didn't have to cut much because my ends were fine, just uneven.

is rollersetting bad? im guess because it's a lot of manipulation. but i cant wait until I can get to shoulder so i wont have to rollerset and airdry my hair in a pony tail.

as for me. i'd give myself a B or B-, only because i am slacking badly with the water and the diet. but i have been moisturizing everyday, deep conditioning every week, and i havent used heat in about 8 months, and i always stretch to 11 weeks. i think I can go longer but my hair starts looking really bad after that, any longer and I'd probably have to use heat to make it look decent. oh and I have minimized the combing and the wrapping. i dont comb more than maybe 2 or 3 times a week, and i only wrap after my hair is done. i never thought i would be able to not comb my hair but it's possible. and i've decreased the amount of breakage i had also. but im still tryign to figure out my protein/moisture balance.
