Can I try to dye my hair darker using a natural homemade recipe over my already colored treated (boxed dye) hair?

Will my hair fall out or something?

The last time I dyed my hair with the boxed dye was about 2 months ago or longer and I read online about natural ways to darken your hair so I wondering if it would be safe to try it.

Or should I just buy the same boxed dye in a dark color?

I am wanting to just go back to my natural (or close) hair color

Thanks Ladies!

If it's natural no it shouldn't hurt it. Of your color you're trying to get is a black color try henna and indigo

You should be able to use henna/indigo with no problems.

Yes that's what I am going for a black color, I have never done henna and indigo.

Do you know how I should do and what I will need?

Thanks for answering :)

:lachen: no I've never done it either, but I know you can. You can probably do a search on here or YouTube. I'm sure there are plenty of tutorials. :yep:

There're loads of threads here on the process and mixes this site
even explains how to get your mix also sareca had very comprehensive info on it
